Based on the GUNCANNON, this mobile suit has eliminated the Core Block System and features improved armor and onboard firepower. The MS deployed to the base at Jaburo has a darker color than existing models. It was deployed against the A.E.U.G's attack on Jaburo, and fought inside the base, making the most of its combat power. It comes with a Beam Rifle that can be held in one or both hands. The hand grenades equipped on the side and back of the waist are removable, can be held in the hands, and thrown. After the One Year War, the Earth Federation Forces modified the GM by replacing the cockpit and adding thrusters. The A.E.U.G version has a green body and a different model number, while the Earth Federation version is red. The Ballute System is equipment that allows the mobile suit to enter the atmosphere on its own, and was adopted by all military forces. The included Ballute pack can be attached to the chest, back, or legs, and can be detached to recreate its equipment state in scenes before and after the mobile suit's descent.
