The history of mobile suits in the Universal Century is explored in "Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack - Beltorchika's Children." Hi-ν GUNDAM comes to METAL BUILD, which is drafted by creators and given life by designers.
Hi-ν GUNDAM is based off the frontispiece of the novel, "Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack - Beltorchika's Children" (published in 1988), designed by Yutaka Izubuchi. It arrives in figure form to METAL BUILD.
The Hi-ν GUNDAM possesses both strength and refinement. Its distinctive coloring and form exemplify Yutaka Izubuchi's powerful and dedicated design sense.
The design of Hi-ν GUNDAM was drawn by mechanical designer Yutaka Izubuchi and based off the frontispiece in the novel. The rifle has a sling belt and the shield has an ink spot camouflage design in homage to the original illustration.
The rifle sling belt is made with a soft material. It is usually slung over the shoulder or simply held as a supplemental prop, but in this figure, its flexibility plays a decisive role in creating powerful poses.
This mobile suit features a series of funnel fins on its back. The color is gradated, and depending on the rotation of the backpack, they can be fanned out like feathers.
The funnel fins are removable and, if all of them are removed, the thrusters that help expel energy can be exposed by rotating the backpack. It's a very unique design.
The shoulder armor, chest, and front armor have areas where the internal mechanisms are exposed. The fine detailing of the mechanisms' molding make the figure seem even more realistic.
Opening up the armor and exposing its inner mechanisms greatly expands your repertoire of poses and further solidifies the strength and expressiveness that can be achieved with this figure.
This figure comes with a saber in the left arm and a backpack. Since the left arm is the perfect size for storing the saber, you can recreate the very moment the saber is drawn for battle.
A gun is included at the tip of the shield, and a sliding mechanism makes it possible to expose the muzzle.
With the level of detail the METAL BUILD series focuses on, it's not just the armor they fuss over, but also additional equipment like propellant tanks.
Since it boasts a large size in comparison to other mobile suits of the Universal Century, this figure comes with a pedestal that lets you display all its best features. It also comes with joint arms specific for the funnel fins, so you can recreate flying scenes.

With the help of many creators, this brand is the ultimate fusion of CHOGOKIN's strengths and the designs from the original work. CHOGOKIN utilizes its figure-making knowledge in each and every part of the figure. This includes using designs that dare to expose metal as-is while refraining use of alloys on the surface to evoke the feel of a real robot as well as designing the figures for movability and weight.
