From "Knight's & Magic," the strongest Crystal Knight in the series, "IKARUGA," finally joins METAL BUILD lineup!
The exterior design, which features design arrangements by Hideki Tenjin, was conceived with the concept of "a robot existing in a fantasy world," and each part was designed with structural and functional meaning in mind.
Die-cast alloy parts are the defining characteristic of METAL BUILD. They are used in various joints, the underside of the tile armor, the scale-like armor, and the blade fins on the arms.
The armor on various parts of the aircraft, which shines with a golden hue, is adorned with engravings that are original designs for METAL BUILD.
The knee joints of the legs employ a linkage mechanism, designed so that the complex exterior does not hinder movement when the legs are bent. This also allows for kneeling poses.
IKARUGA most distinctive feature is its four sub-arms on its back, known as "Moon-Attaching Hands," which can be equipped with "gun-mounted swords" and allow for the recreation of wrist-launched weapons.
The front and rear skirts utilize PVC sheet material with wires embedded in it, allowing for flexible, flowing poses.
The shoulder area can be fitted with a flag featuring an original METAL BUILD design. Designed as a ceremonial decoration, it is based on the emblem of the "Silver Phoenix Knights."
The main weapon, the "gun-mounted sword," can be transformed into both gun and sword forms. A total of four are included.
The parts, which are modeled after chess pieces, can be used as a chair-shaped base by swapping out the top section. This allows you to display IKARUGA in a seated pose, reminiscent of the illustration from the original novel version of "Knight's & Magic" when he first appeared.
