The world is in the age of pirates. The Straw Hat Pirates, captained by Luffy, continue their voyage in search of the great treasure, the One Piece! The original manga is by Eiichiro Oda, and currently being serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha). Since its serialization began in 1997, it has gained quick popularity, with the total number of copies published in the series exceeding 500 million (as of 2024). A TV animation began broadcasting in 1999. Since then, it has become a long series that has always been highly popular, and in 2021 it finally surpassed 1,000 episodes. Many movie versions have also been produced, and the latest film, "One Piece Film Red" released in 2022, watched in theaters by 14.74 million people in Japan, with a box office revenue of 20.33 billion yen. It is a global entertainment work that continues to grow while starting many movements.
