Shinkansen Transforming Robot Shinkalion
The Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion series is a project launched by JR East Planning, Shogakukan Shueisha Productions, and Takara Tomy. Plarail Shinkalion was launched in 2015, taking advantage of the setting that real bullet trains all over the country transform and become robots. Since then, it has grown into a series loved by children and adults alike for 10 years, with the TV anime Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion (2018), The Movie movie Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion: The Fast ALFA-X from the Future (2019), the TV anime Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion Z (2021), and the TV anime Shinkalion Change the World (2024). Starting in March 2025, we will start the Shinkalion 10th Anniversary Project to express our gratitude for all that has happened so far.
