"Macross Plus" (OVA / 1994-1995)

It is the year 2040 AD. On the planet Eden, the "Super Nova" project is underway to select the pilot of the next main variable fighter.
Isamu, one of the test pilots for Super Nova, reunites with his old friends Guld and Myung on Eden.
The destinies of three people who had a connection in the past intersect once again.
This is an OVA work planned and produced in parallel with the "Macross 7" TV series, with Shoji Kawamori serving as the general director. The battle scenes by "Itano Circus" are particularly spectacular.
It is also known as a work that introduced CG in the early stages in anticipation of the digitization of Japanese animation. There was a movie version released, cut from the OVA and adding new scenes.

From "Macross Plus", the mecha of one of the main characters, the YF-21, alongside YF-19, has finally been modeled. The three-stage transformation has been implemented with completely new modeling. It is also possible to reproduce high maneuver mode (limiter release mode) with limbs purged. Comes with familiar equipment such as the FAST pack and gun pods.

Macross Plus
An OVA work with a total of 4 episodes released from 1994 to 1995. The Valkyries exhibit spectacular action scenes, complete with full CG for the first time in the series, with music by Yoko Kanno—her first participation in a "Macross" series. Sharon Apple, pioneer of virtual idols, appears in this work.
