The long-awaited ground unit comes to the "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED" ver. A.N.I.M.E. series! The BuCUE, the iconic four-legged mobile suit, is now available with an impressive assortment of movable gimmicks and effects! Recreate the fierce battles that plagued the Strike Gundam!
The movable mechanisms developed for the ver. A.N.I.M.E. series allow for various parts to be freely extended and contracted, resulting in a totally unique and dynamic posable figure! Its quadrupedal beast-like action and transformation as seen when speeding through the desert has been meticulously recreated, and the figure includes dust effects, railguns, and vernier effects, too! Furthermore, by using separately sold optional parts, it can be converted into a missile pod- equipped type!
The pride of the Zaft Army and cornerstone of its ground combat forces, the BuCUE, comes to ver. A.N.I.M.E.! The iconic scene from the anime where a group of these ground units use their superior mobility to toy around with the Strike Gundam in the unfamiliar desert terrain can be recreated!
In addition to the BuCUE's main body, a twin 450 mm railgun that can be equipped on its back is also included. It also comes with various effects including railgun fire, head beam sabers, and verniers, as well as two sand effects to recreate desert warfare.
The unique quadrupedal form of this mobile suit, rare for the Gundam series, has been beautifully captured in this figure.
The railguns on the back are detachable. It can be equipped with the 13 missile pods included in the separately sold THE ROBOT SPIRITS <SIDE MS> Zodiac Alliance of Freedom Treaty WEAPON SET ver. A.N.I.M.E.
By contracting the neck, folding its legs, and extending the tank treads, it can transformed into Cruising Mode, which is able to traverse over all kinds of rough terrain.
The railgun on its back can be fitted with effects to recreate shooting scenes, and the beam saber on its head can be fitted with beam saber effects. Furthermore, by using the sand effects to evoke the image of desert warfare, highly dynamic action scenes from the anime can be recreated.
A jumping attack that uses the wings on its back and its large engines is one of the BuCUE's signature actions. Special vernier effects attach to the nozzles to recreate a jumping scene.
The BuCUE has a beast-like form, and the articulation of each of its body parts is also based on four-legged beasts. The figure can be easily lowered to a crouch with its front legs spread wide, as if ready to pounce. The neck can also be flexibly articulated in multiple poses.
The gimmick expertise cultivated by the ver. A.N.I.M.E. series is also used in the BuCUE. The chest block can be split apart and moved, allowing the front legs to be adjusted inward. These adjustments help maintain its feral image.
The waist block can also be split apart and moved, allowing it to bend in all directions and twist, helping express the beastly nature of the figure. The armed turret can be moved independently of the figure's forward and backward pose, and the muzzle can maintain its forward direction to a certain extent.
