"Ganso SD Gundam World," an assembly-type SD Gundam model series, started in 1988 and, riding the wave of the popularity of "SD Gundam" at the time, saw the development of numerous item.
Following the success of the "VERSAL KNIGHT GUNDAM," the "Revival Original" series, which releases figures with the original specifications but with key updates, now features "MUSHA GUNDAM" and "CAPTAIN FORMULA 91"!
We'll be introducing these two item, which are currently available for pre-order at Tamashii web shop, all at once!

Musha Gundam, a member of the Gundam Army's strongest unit, the "Seven Musha Warriors," and the protagonist of the "MUSHA GUNDAM SD SENGOKU DEN" series, has been revived for the modern era by scanning the original design from its 1989 release (which was re-released in 1993 with revised set contents) using the latest technology and creating new molds.
The "fukikaeshi" (side flaps) on both sides of the helmet are pre-painted, and red stickers, consistent with the original kit, are also included.

The face part is newly sculpted to resemble the original packaging illustration. A version with the original sculpt is also included, allowing you to freely swap parts to suit your preference.
Both face parts come with two types of stickers: one with eyes and one without. The sticker set, which is based on the original design, also includes a sticker for the eyes alone, allowing you to choose your preferred expression.

The included weapons are the sword "Nichirinmaru," the "Hishou Shield," and the long sword "Bukon."
With its articulation allowing for neck rotation, arm raising, and arm spreading, you can fully appreciate the charm of MUSHA GUNDAM as it wields a wide variety of weapons!

Pushing the backpack in causes the waist apron to rise, revealing a cannon. The "Flying Eagle Shield" features a gimmick that allows it to transform into an "Eagle-shaped flying machine (Eagle Mech)" by rearranging its parts!

The "Eagle-shaped flying device" can also be attached to a backpack. The heroic figure MUSHA GUNDAM soaring through the sky is revived!

Next up is Captain CAPTAIN FORMULA 91, the warrior of light, an enhanced version of the battle-hardened Captain Gundam, who appeared in "SD Command Chronicles III SUPER G ARMS". Like MUSHA GUNDAM, this figure also utilizes the latest scanning technology to recreate the shape of the original released in 1992.
The face, arms, and side skirts, which were originally white, have all been changed to a gold molded color, resulting in an updated finish that is more in line with the illustration and has a more unified look.

The helmet's design has also been updated. A new face part, inspired by the package illustration, has been added, and it can be swapped with the original design. Both face parts come with two types of stickers: one with eyes and one without.

The wings on both shoulders deploy, and it enters sortie mode. It comes equipped with a dedicated rifle, the "Beam Plasmar," and a beautifully gold-plated "Shining Shield," which can be mounted on both arms.

The "Beam Claw Vesper" mounted on the back features an extendable mechanism at its tip. The opening and closing mechanism of the "Grand Cross Buster" on the chest, which absorbs surrounding stellar energy to unleash powerful attacks, is also reproduced.

Furthermore, its most notable feature is the transformation gimmick into the sacred beast "Star Gryphon"! Enjoy the dazzling two-stage transformation right in your hands!

Finally, here is a comment from the project manager in charge of this "Original SD Gundam World" project.

In this revived version, we have faithfully preserved the "memories of the original" while also fulfilling users' ideals of "what if it had been like this back then..." by adding new face parts and changing the molded colors. We hope you will pick it up and enjoy comparing the nostalgia with the updated features.

Regarding the selection of the lineup, we chose main characters from various eras, specifically from the three main pillars of the original SD Gundam series: "Knights (Mobile Suit SD Gundam)," "Warriors (SD SD SENGOKU DEN)," and "Command (SD Command Senki)," in order to demonstrate the diversity of the storylines.
I chose CAPTAIN FORMULA 91 in particular because the person in charge grew up watching it and has a strong emotional attachment to it!

For the momentous occasion of our 100th release, we're planning on a completely new character design, so please look forward to it!
