From THE ROBOT SPIRITS ver. A.N.I.M.E.'s "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED" series of figures comes the Duel Gundam, the second type of Gundam machine that hunted down the Strike Gundam and the Archangel early in the story. Released in stores on March 25, 2023!
Designed with a simple fuselage structure but with excellent mobility and maneuverability, ver. A.N.I.M.E. has recreated this machine in its entirety. This all-new photo shoot will detail the appeal of this product, which excels in style, mobility, and set contents!

 

The packaging for the DUEL GUNDAM ver. A.N.I.M.E. makes great use of a large open window and a digirama reproducing a space attack scene to show off the DUEL GUNDAM both at rest and in a dynamic pose, and is decorated with the key colors of the mobile suit: blue and orange.

 

Let's begin by examining this luxurious set and its contents!
An array of effect parts and armaments, including dedicated joint parts for mounted armaments, are included. Especially notable are the spark effect parts that allow it to match the movements of the Strike Gundam, which make it possible to reproduce fierce battle scenes.

 

This product comes with a 350 mm rail bazooka Gáe Bulg, developed as a special weapon for the Duel Gundam.This blog, published at the time of the STRIKE GUNDAM's release, introduced the concept of "ver. A.N.I.M.E. and 'Mobile Suit Gundam SEED' action," which utilizes movement specifications and enables a firm grip on the Gáe Bulg.

 

The beam rifle comes with a beam firing effect, and by selecting a grenade effect, you can reproduce the firing state of the grenade at the bottom of the barrel!

 

In addition, you can mount the shield on the back by using the dedicated joint parts.
The ability to reproduce the armed state just as it appeared in the series is another exciting feature of the ver. A.N.I.M.E. series.

 

The curved saber effect that comes with the separately sold AILE STRIKER & EFFECT PARTS SET can also be used with this product! This is one effect that plays a big role in recreating impressive fighting scenes with this mobile suit.

Recreate the battle scene where the Duel Gundam relentlessly attacked the Aile Strike Gundam!

 

In addition, you can mount the beam rifle on the side skirt plate using special joint parts to reproduce how it is equipped in the series.

 

Furthermore, using the same movable shins as STRIKE GUNDAM, it's possible to change the appearance of the legs when posing. In the left image, the boot part of the leg has been hidden by moving the right foot outward. Conversely, by moving it inward as in the right image, the boot part of the foot has been slightly exposed to give the pose a sense of depth. Choose how to position the feet according to your preference. 

 

A beam rifle effect is also included so you can recreate SEED's characteristic multi-dimensional confrontation against the Aile Strike Gundam!

 

Finally, we'd like to highlight the spark effect parts which allow you to recreate the famous scene where the Aile Strike Gundam pilot, Kira Yamato, enters SEED mode after being cornered and badly damages the Duel Gundam!

This effect is comprised of three different parts.
They are the STRIKE GUNDAM-exclusive Armor Schneider hand part, the intermediate Armor Schneider Spark Effect part, and a translucent spark effect that attaches to the DUEL GUNDAM's waist.

Tilt the DUEL GUNDAM forward, insert the transparent joint part into the gap on the waist, then tilt it back a little until it pinches it.

Attach the spark effect to the joint part and then attach the Armor Schneider equipped hand part to the STRIKE GUNDAM (sold separately) to complete the scene.

Experience the regret of Yzak Joule and his wounded pride, and the later renovation of the mobile suit in a vividness that can only be recreated by figures and effects of the ver. A.N.I.M.E. series!
