Ostania and Westalis have been locked in a cold war for more than a dozen years.

Twilight—one of the finest spies in the Westalian Intelligence Services' Eastern-Focused Division (a.k.a WISE)—is tasked with a top-secret mission to uncover the ambitions of Donovan Desmond, the leader of the National Unity Party in Ostania, a dangerous figure whose very presence threatens the delicate peace between West and East.

The operation is codenamed Strix.

His mission directives are simple: he must create a family in a week, and with said family, he must infiltrate a social gathering at the prestigious school that Donovan's son attends.

Assuming the identity of psychiatrist Loid Forger, Twilight moves ahead with assembling his family. However, unbeknownst to him, his adopted daughter, Anya, is able to read minds, and his wife, Yor, turns out to be a top-class assassin!
Brought together by mutual interests, they must live together while keeping their secrets intact.
