"Crayon Shin-Chan" began serialization in Weekly Manga Action (Futabasha) in 1990, and the anime began airing on TV Asahi in 1992, quickly becoming a popular favorite among viewers. A new "Crayon Shin-Chan" movie has been released every year since 1993, and "Crayon Shin-Chan: Super Brilliant! Scorching Kasukabe Dancers" is scheduled for release in the summer of 2025. The property is a slapstick comedy about the daily life of Japan's most troublesome 5-year-old, Nohara Shinnosuke, and his family and friends. Shin-chan, who gets everyone involved with his unique humor and innocent behavior and gets into all kinds of trouble and adventures, is beloved by generations and has gained popularity all over the world.
