Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket

The first OVA work in the Gundam Series, and the first work produced by someone other than General Director Yoshiyuki Tomino, the creator and parent of "Mobile Suit Gundam." Instead of telling the story from the perspective of a Gundam pilot, it is an ambitious work focused of the opposite side of defeating the Gundams. This story centers on two main characters: young Al and Principality of Zeon recruit Bernie. This pioneering work established the method of telling previously untold stories from subsequent Gundam sagas.
