『超時空要塞マクロス』の主役メカである可変戦闘機「VF-1 バルキリー」を当時としてはリアルに立体化し、伝説のトイとして絶大なる支持を得た「1/55 バルキリー」シリーズ(当時の元はタカトクトイス社)。
これをマクロス25周年にあわせてリニューアル復刻版として展開するのが「オリジン・オブ・バルキリー」シリーズです。
当時の可変構造や造形はそのままに、仕様を一部変更し、パッケージをリニューアル。
「スーパーバルキリーVF-1A(マクシミリアン・ジーナス機)」は、エースパイロットのマクシミリアン・ジーナスが劇場版で搭乗する白地＋青黒ラインの機体をシリーズ初商品化。
劇中で標準装備するスーパーパックも付属。
