The TIME TRAIN, the steam locomotive time machine that appears in "Back to the Future Part III," has been sculpted for the first time as an official collectable!
Features the size and weight of a 0 gauge model train. It lights up! It moves! It makes sounds! 56 LEDs create light that evokes scenes from the movie. The impressive steampunk parts are motorized and moveable. The draft sound of the steam locomotive echoes along with them. Transformation into flight mode is possible with interchangeable wings and other parts. When the driving wheels are in flight mode, they move in tandem. Character figures at the same scale are also included so you can bring scenes from the movie to life.
The TIME TRAIN from "Back to the Future" joins CHOGOKIN for the first time to mark the 40th anniversary of the film's release in 2025!
At the end of "Back to the Future Part III," a steam locomotive time machine appears before Marty and Jennifer as they return from the past. This is the first official product based on the train's appearance, based on footage and source materials.
With an electric gear gimmick and 56 LEDs, its size is equivalent to the O gauge scale train model. The base measures about 560 mm, and the main body is about 480 mm.
Flight mode is also recreated by transforming the wheels and adding wing parts. By switching modes using the typewriter-style key on the base, the LEDs underneath the main body also light up, recreating the jet propulsion seen in the movie.
The rear car features the same vent design as the Delorean, and also lights up with LEDs in flight mode.
Each steampunk part on the body is electrically geared, allowing them to rotate and change direction. The white light on the side is also relay operated to match the appearance in the movie.
The driver's door opens in a gull-wing style, just like in the movie. The various dials and seats inside are precisely sculpted based on official materials.
Character figures at the same scale are also included. They are as detailed as possible, with a total height of less than 40mm.
Characters can be placed inside the driver's seat or in the space in front of it, allowing for displays that evoke the film.
The main power supply and USB-C connector are located on the far side of the base, eliminating the need for batteries to power the gearing and numerous LEDs.
The first official TIME TRAIN model makes a fantastic item for this special 40th anniversary.

A series of die-cast toys that started with the blockbuster hit "CHOGOKIN MAZINGER Z," released in 1974. In addition to the exterior reproduction made of composite materials including die-cast, it is equipped with character-specific gimmicks such as firing, combining, and transforming. The concept, design, and execution of this pioneering toy series gave birth to the CHOGOKIN category of toys.
