RZ-041 LIGER ZERO

  • Type Zero
    Liger Zero is a Zoid developed with a totally different design philosophy from the conventional ones, one that is based on a completely feral body.
    It has high combat capabilities that are comparable to those of Organoid-equipped machines. Its greatest feature, the CAS (Changing Armor System), enables a wide range of strategic maneuvers via conversion of its armor.
    When equipped with the Zero Unit, the "Type Zero" is a weapon that brings the best out of its feral body, and is the unit that represents the Liger Zero at its most basic and versatile.
  • The Figure
    The Liger Zero in a form with all the CAS removed.
    It excels at high mobility and armed attacks at close-quarters. Although its overall performance is reduced, this form is the closest to that of a feral body, awakening the instincts of the Zoid to its fullest potential and displaying combat capabilities that cannot be measured using standard catalog specs.

An item from the "Dream Together -Connecting Thoughts and Dreams-" project.
The collaboration between the two major brands "CHOGOKIN" and "Zoids" has resulted in the release of "Liger Zero," the main character from "Zoids: New Century Slash Zero."
In pursuit of the "metal life form" concept that is at the heart of Zoids, this model has a metal body, yet possesses the flexibility of an animal. Various gimmicks to enhance the appeal of the Liger Zero, such as the detachable Zero Unit and light-emitting eyes, are also built into the figure.

  • ZOIDS Figure CHOGOKIN CHOGOKIN RZ-041 LIGER ZEROThe CHOGOKIN Liger Zero brings together the technology of both the BANDAI SPIRITS and TAKARA TOMY companies. Poses as dynamic as the beast itself are possible.

  • ZOIDS Figure CHOGOKIN CHOGOKIN RZ-041 LIGER ZEROThe frame and a sections of the armor are made of die-cast metal. The paint used on the Zero unit and other parts of the body give it a texture that is characteristic of a metal life form.

  • ZOIDS Figure CHOGOKIN CHOGOKIN RZ-041 LIGER ZEROThe greatest feature of the Liger Zero, the detachable Zero unit, is of course also recreated. The figure can be switched between the bare body state and the Type Zero mode.

  • ZOIDS Figure CHOGOKIN CHOGOKIN RZ-041 LIGER ZEROMovable mechanisms throughout the entire body, which are based on animal skeletons, allow for flexible limb movements.

  • ZOIDS Figure CHOGOKIN CHOGOKIN RZ-041 LIGER ZEROThe shoulders feature a pull-out mechanism inspired by the shoulder blades of a lion. The limbs incorporate a new patent-pending mechanism to achieve a twisting motion inspired by animal tendons.

  • ZOIDS Figure CHOGOKIN CHOGOKIN RZ-041 LIGER ZEROThe back booster is linked to the exterior by moving the side fins. The vernier section also extends.

  • ZOIDS Figure CHOGOKIN CHOGOKIN RZ-041 LIGER ZEROThe dedicated stand comes with a movable post that swivels on its axis back, forth, left, and right, allowing the figure to be displayed in dynamic poses. The tail uses double-wired weaving to create an animal-like silhouette.

  • ZOIDS Figure CHOGOKIN CHOGOKIN RZ-041 LIGER ZEROThe eyes can emit light via an LED gimmick. The forearms have pull-out mechanisms on the claws. The Strike Laser Claw, the signature weapon of the Liger Zero, is depicted.

  • ZOIDS Figure CHOGOKIN CHOGOKIN RZ-041 LIGER ZEROThe Zoid Core can be withdrawn from the chest.

  • ZOIDS Figure CHOGOKIN CHOGOKIN RZ-041 LIGER ZEROA pilot figure is included. The cockpit can be boarded.

  • The dedicated stand has joints that
    can move back, forth, left, and right,
    allowing for a dynamic display.

  • The Liger Zero will be released as a massive figure with an overwhelming amount of mechanisms.
    The "Changing Armor System" to be released in the future will evolve the figure even further.

A series of die-cast toys that started with the blockbuster hit "CHOGOKIN MAZINGER Z," released in 1974. In addition to the exterior reproduction made of composite materials including die-cast, it is equipped with character-specific gimmicks such as firing, combining, and transforming. The concept, design, and execution of this pioneering toy series gave birth to the CHOGOKIN category of toys.
