Introducing Product Samples for "S.H.Figuarts (SHINKOCCHOU SEIHOU) THUNDER GRIDMAN" (Shipment Scheduled for September 2026)

Based on body scan data of Hiroyuki Okano, who played the suit actor at the time, the figure was sculpted using his physique and skeleton as a base, thoroughly recreating the proportions of "THUNDER GRIDMAN" from the 1993 TV series "Gridman".
With the supervision and cooperation of Tsuburaya Productions' LSS modeling department and Takafumi Kanabuchi, who was in charge of the suit modeling for "THUNDER GRIDMAN" at the time, we pursued a sense of authenticity. The details of "THUNDER GRIDMAN" which was created using various special effects techniques, are reproduced using two methods: "modeling" and "tampo printing."

The torso incorporates some soft parts, and the shoulders and hip joints feature pull-out mechanisms. Part of the leg armor moves inward, improving the ankle's ability to stand on the ground.
Despite being clad in heavy armor from head to toe, it's possible to recreate dynamic poses such as twisting the body dramatically and raising the arms high.

The set includes parts to recreate the techniques used by "THUNDER GRIDMAN" in the show.
In addition to effect parts for the "Thunder Grid Beam," a special beam fired from the right fist, a set of support parts for recreating the "Drill Break" attack, where drills are launched from both shoulders, is included, allowing for play that simulates scenes of the figure flying towards an opponent.

Additionally, as an original toy feature, the set includes wrist parts that can hold the “Plasma Blade,” “Barrier Shield,” and “GRIDMAN Sword” included with “S.H.Figuarts (SHINKOCCHOU SEIHOU) GRIDMAN” (sold separately; no longer available for order). It also comes with wrist parts featuring spread fingers, allowing for even more expressive poses.

Additionally, with this “S.H.Figuarts (SHINKOCCHOU SEIHOU) THUNDER GRIDMAN,” some of the exterior parts can be removed, and by combining it with the “S.H.Figuarts (SHINKOCCHOU SEIHOU) GRIDMAN” (sold separately; no longer available for order), you can recreate the combination sequence seen in the show.
We will also explain this gimmick in detail.

Of the armor covering the entire body, the removable parts are the outer armor pieces on the left and right shoulders, arms, and legs (within the yellow frame in the image).

By removing the exterior parts of each section as shown in the image, the preparation is complete.

Among the removed exterior parts, the legs can be attached directly to the S.H.Figuarts (SHINKOCCHOU SEIHOU) GRIDMAN (sold separately; no longer available).

First, attach the ankle armor parts by sandwiching them between GRIDMAN 's ankles.

Next, by removing the yellow parts on GRIDMAN 's shins, the connection holes are exposed.

Attach the front part of the leg armor here.

The assembly is complete once the rear parts of the leg armor are attached from behind.

After attaching the leg exterior parts to the “S.H.Figuarts (SHINKOCCHOU SEIHOU) GRIDMAN” (sold separately; no longer available), display them as shown in the illustration to visualize the combination sequence from “GRIDMAN” to “THUNDER GRIDMAN” and enjoy the show!
*Due to their structure, the shoulder armor and forearm armor cannot be attached to GRIDMAN.
