Here is the packaging. The white areas feature a marble-like pattern, resulting in a design that exudes luxury.
The "ROBOT SPIRITS <SIDE AB>" series, which started in 2012, will complete its collection of Aura Battlers from the TV series with the "Botune (Phoizon King's Unit)" to be released in 2024. The main character's machine, Dunbine, was also commercialized in October 2012 (hereinafter referred to as the "2012 version"), and this time...HD = High Density versionThis figure (referred to as "HD version" below) features a completely new sculpt.

"DUNBINE (H.D.)" has returned to the field at ROBOT SPIRITS!
As the name HD suggests, meticulous attention has been paid to every aspect of the design, decoration, coloring, and materials used. The matte texture of the molded plastic, the pale tones, the clear material used for the chest and wings, and the gold-painted decorations all contribute to a three-dimensional representation of the elegant atmosphere that Dunbine exudes.

While the 2012 version was faithfully recreated based on the original film's visuals, the HD version features various modifications to enhance its quality as an action figure. Along with the increased detail, the curved surface structure of the body has also become more complex.
On the other hand, the HD version features cleaner wing veins (wing patterns) and lighter colors compared to the 2012 version, creating a more balanced overall look. These details from the 2012 version, along with the improved articulation carried over to the HD version, are still enjoyable to look at today. If you own both, be sure to display them side-by-side!

Upon closer inspection, the high density of detail and meticulous craftsmanship becomes apparent. The gold accents on the neck, forehead, and toes have a more decorative shape. Gold has also been added to the hilt and sheath of the Aura Sword. Furthermore, additional details have been added to the joints and armor, emphasizing the organic image of the Aura Battler.
This interpretation is reminiscent of the various image illustrations that have been released so far, such as those on the LD jacket.

Aura Battlers are known for their aerial combat. Compatible with the separately sold TAMASHII STAGE, it can be freely posed soaring through the air with its wings and Aura Converter extended. The weapons are...Includes "Aura Sword," "Aura Shot," and "Shot Claw Wire."The sheath attached to the Aura Converter can be angled, allowing you to sheathe and unsheathe the Aura Sword.

The Aura Shot has also been detailed up to match the main body. It can be attached to either the left or right arm, and the magazine part is a separate piece, so you can enjoy recreating exchange scenes. It can be held securely by hooking it onto the forearm and claw.

The wires for the shot claws are made of bendable material, allowing for a three-dimensional reproduction of the trajectory during firing. The chest, abdomen, and waist blocks have ample range of motion, enabling dynamic movements such as twisting, arching, and bending the torso.

The Aura Converter unfolds to the left and right, its base is movable, and the inside of the intake is painted green. The base block of the wing is a separate part. This significantly expands the range of motion of the wings compared to the 2012 version.

A neck that can look straight ahead even in a flying pose. Two axial roll joints that sandwich the elbow joint, and retractable knee and hip joints. In addition to the exterior design, the density of the movable structure has also been increased. The shoulder armor and upper arm are connected by tubes, but since the tubes are made of a soft material and the shoulder and arm can move independently, it does not hinder the movement of the arm.

Each of the three toes and their claws is individually movable. The soles of the feet also feature organic details, boasting a high level of detail right down to the toes. See for yourself the importance of this point in terms of adding nuance to flying poses and adjusting the angle when grounded.

Similar to the 2012 version, the boarding scene can be recreated by opening the chest canopy and posing the figure in a kneeling position. In the HD version, the waist can be tilted like a pelvis,"Even when placed in a kneeling position, the upper body does not tilt."You can pose it. By using the aforementioned knee joint extension, you can bend the legs more than 90 degrees.

The HD series, which builds upon ROBOT SPIRITS—the standard for robot action figures—by meticulously analyzing and researching the subject matter, delivers a high level of detail and precision. The first release in this series is..."ROBOT SPIRITS <SIDE AB> DUNBINE (H.D.)" will be available in stores on Saturday, June 20!
