MASKED RIDER V3, the third Kamen Rider born from the hands of the Double Riders, returns to SHINKOCCHOU SEIHOU series in a glorious Showa Rider Edition, along with his beloved motorcycle, Hurricane!
We're showcasing two item currently available for pre-order at Tamashii web shop, with orders closing on May 31st (Sunday) at 11 PM, all in a special photoshoot!

S.H.Figuarts (SHINKOCCHOU SEIHOU) MASKED RIDER V3 Glorious Showa Rider Edition

V3 returns to SHINKOCCHOU SEIHOU series with a new look, as the Glorious Showa Rider Edition.
The figure retains the proportions achieved by sculpting from the skeletal structure, based on the image of MASKED RIDER V3 as he appeared in the 1973 broadcast. However, the suit's coloring, which was adorned with red, green, and white that stood out against the blue sky, has been reinterpreted and redefined, resulting in a complete renewal.

While the 2022 version featured muted colors that evoked the atmosphere of the original footage, this Glorious Showa Rider Edition has been completely revamped with vibrant colors that emphasize V3's heroic image.

The mask and compound eyes have also been adjusted in color to match the new color scheme. Weathering has been added to the lower jaw of the mask for a more realistic texture.

In addition to the fabric scarf with a built-in wire, two new interchangeable PVC scarves are included.

In addition to existing shapes like the V-sign and pointing finger, the numerous new interchangeable wrist parts are also a highlight not to be missed.

The "V3 Hopper," a probe that sends images of a 10km square area from 500m above the ground to the V3, is also included in the recording. By using a special handle, it is possible to capture the moment of launch into the sky.
In addition, a newly sculpted replacement skirt part for riding is included, which works with the "S.H.Figuarts Hurricane Glorious Showa Rider Edition" ordered at the same time.
You can enjoy the sequence from the show where you use V3 Hopper to find the escaped Destron monster and then pursue it with Hurricane.

The interchangeable skirt parts have a rolled-up hem, making them versatile for uses beyond just riding the Hurricane. They are also very useful for recreating the various kicking techniques and large actions such as upward kicks that V3 displays in the show.

Furthermore, as a special accessory unique to this glorious Showa Rider Edition, a large display stand is included. The brightly shining red "V3" crest enhances the special feel of this item!

S.H.Figuarts Hurricane Glorious Showa Rider Edition

Next, let's introduce the "Hurricane," V3's exclusive machine developed by the Double Riders.
S.H.Figuarts The glorious Showa Rider Edition has been released once in 2015 as a machine corresponding to the regular line "S.H.Figuarts MASKED RIDER V3", but this time the cowl and seat have been newly sculpted and brushed up as a machine alongside the SHINKOCCHOU SEIHOU series.

While the Hurricane's shape and coloring can be seen in subtle differences depending on the scene in the film, this time we used the type that appears in the opening sequence as the basis and pursued a high degree of accuracy in reproducing the overall shape and details of the cowl.

The car's body, composed of blue, red, and white, features deep, matte colors.
You can see that it gives a more accurate impression of the vehicle from that era.

The most noticeable difference from the 2015 version is the coloring on the underside of the cowl.
In the film, there are versions where this part is white and versions where it's black, but this time, I chose black, referencing the opening sequence and other footage. The curved line on the lower part of the cowl stands out, giving it a sharper and more refined look.

The underside of the vehicle and the area around the muffler were given a weathering effect to recreate the texture seen in the film.
The air intakes on the sides of the vehicle also feature a black gradient that evokes the image of dirt.

The wing located at the front of the vehicle comes with interchangeable parts that recreate its extended state.
The overall shape has also been revised, and new parts have been created. The shape of the rocket boosters attached to the underside of the wings has also been changed.

Furthermore, as a new element unique to the glorious Showa Rider Edition, the "Typhoon" on the front of the cowl is equipped with a windmill part swapping gimmick!
By pushing the lever located on the underside of the cowl forward, removing the cover, and replacing the internal windmill parts, the swapping mechanism is achieved without compromising the appearance.

Two types of interchangeable windmill parts are included: blue and yellow. You can recreate the scene from the movie where the windmill's color changes in stages according to the vehicle's speed!

Two types of wrist parts for piloting the Hurricane are included, compatible with the V3 introduced earlier. The wrist parts allow you to recreate detailed piloting scenes, with one shaped like gripping the handlebars and the other with the index and middle fingers on the levers.
Combine it with the separately sold TAMASHII STAGE to enjoy the heroic figure of V3 performing dynamic motorcycle action after motorcycle in the movie!
