About the arranged style of "NXEDGE STYLE"
--Morimoto Ganya-sensei often draws deformed MS for Gundam Info and other stylized, but what do you think of the "NXEDGE STYLE" arrangements?
Morimoto: It's cool! I like how it's small but has sharp edges. I also like the substantial weight when you hold it. When I saw it online, I had the impression it would be a bit smaller, but the real thing is bigger than I expected. I thought it would be more palm-sized (laughs).

MorimotoNormally, the smaller the size, the less precise the molding becomes, but it feels like "NXEDGE STYLE" is defying that rule.
――In addition, Dr. Morimoto drew an introductory manga of "NXEDGE STYLE" in the series "SD Gundam Inf い" of Gundam Info.
MorimotoWhen I saw the reference materials, I thought, "NXEDGE STYLE has amazing molding, so I'll use this in my illustrations!" But then I started drawing the lines, and the line art just wouldn't finish...
Manga is an SD system, but the mold of the product to be introduced is to be firmly inserted. If you draw as an illustration, you will find it really sweet and the details are weird. The "NXEDGE STYLE" was a little harder than the other products (laughs).

Morimoto"NXEDGE STYLE" really brings to life the parts that tend to be "two-dimensional lies" in illustrations. If you look at it from different angles, you can find the perfect angle.

MorimotoIt's amazing how they're stored at an angle that makes them look so handsome! There's a real "craftsman's spirit" in the design of the blister pack.

MorimotoIt's really thoughtful that it comes with a base as standard equipment. You can never have too many bases. It can stand on its own even without the base, right?

MorimotoIt's amazing how much the knees bend. Even though it's stylized, it can even kneel. Plus, the sharp design, like that of the "NXEDGE STYLE" series, gives it a floating feel, making you want to display it in a suspended state. Especially with the SEED series, the impression of aerial posing is so strong that it would be a waste not to use a display stand!
About METEOR
--The "METEOR" unit, which can be attached to the Strike Freedom, will be released as a made-to-order item on Tamashii web shop, and we have brought a factory sample with us today.
MorimotoWhen I display the Strike Freedom, I can't help but think of the scene where METEOR emerges from a low-angle shot. The song "METEOR" starts playing in my head.
This METEOR has been arranged in a compact form, hasn't it?
--If we were to make a full-size 3D model, it would become difficult to collect and play with, so we considered various size plans and aimed for a volume that would be just right for a playable METEOR. The barrel can be detached from the joint arm and held by the Strike Freedom.

Morimoto: It looks cool to hold it with the arms movable as per the design, but it's easier to play with if they're detachable. I think it's really great! By the way, is it possible to attach the mobile weapon wings that came as a first-edition bonus for the Strike FREEDOM GUNDAM to METEOR?
