In commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the digital monster birth, "Anime Diggeon Adventure", "Digimon Adventure 02", and "Digimon Adventure tri." Are set as the main in "Launching Figure King No.236" (World Photo Press) Performed the large Digimon special feature! It is featured article of Digimon fan must centering on animation version.

Part of the "Super Evolutionary Soul" information published in "Figure King No.236".

And this feature is packed with the latest information on the latest Digimon Transformer Toy 'Super Evolutionary Soul' from the Bandai Collectors Division! There is also a genealogy of Digimon Transformed Toy linked to the present, and a number of development materials that will become the world's first public release There. Here, we will introduce a part of the roundtable discussion meeting of the "super evolution spirit" development staff conducted specifically in the feature.

■ Round-Table Discussion Participating members participated in Digimon since they joined Bandai and have participated in projects of the 10th or 15th anniversary, "Target Nishizawa" and Mr. Takuya Tsurumaki designing with affiliated company Plex of Bandai, Takashi Yamashita Mr. Doo. It is told how the product which glows attention of the fan viewpoint rather than work was born, its circumstances and the length of hot feeling are told.

Nishizawa: The original Super Evolution series was initially created by Wiz alone, and then Plex joined in later and they worked on it together. So, in addition to Kenji Watanabe and Wiz's supervision, I thought it would be good to ask Plex to participate this time as well.

Tsurumaki: Yamashita and I usually work on projects like "Kamen Rider" and "Super Sentai" at Plex.

NishizawaWhen working with Plex on Kamen Rider or Super Sentai, there's a certain degree of restraint involved because it's a boys' toy aimed at children. This time, the trial is to see what happens when we remove that restraint and make it for collectors. Of course, just because it's for adults doesn't mean it should be too complicated.

TsurumakiI was told that they wanted to make it more of a toy-like item with an interesting transformation feature, rather than just a regular collector's figure. As someone from the Digimon generation, I was very happy about that. I'm 32 now, so I'm a little older than the actual generation.

YamashitaI'm 25, so that's just about right for me.

Nishizawa: That's the perfect age group for me.

■ In addition to the development sketches and materials of "War Greymon" and "Metal Garurumon", the third edition of "Diabolomon" is also posted on the magazine! In addition, a prototype model for studying "Alfamon" under development It is the first public release in Japan!

NishizawaActually, the very first design drawing we received was for Alphamon. The reason we displayed Alphamon at the event from the beginning was because Alphamon was the initial concept for the project.

Alphamon exhibition at the event "TAMASHII NATIONS 10th World Tour" Osaka "".

Tsurumaki: I was in charge of Alphamon.

Nishizawa: When I asked for it, they came back with a bizarre transformation prototype (laughs). Actually, the mechanism prototypes for the Super Evolution Soul are made out of paper and styrene board.

Yamashita: Lately, we've been using 3D printers, but the quickest way is still paper. The base is a toothpick (laughs).

■ Three people told that Digimon's point of emphasis is "to play" while realizing the physically impossible deformation of "evolution". The story is packed with a story behind the development that makes sense not just technology.

TsurumakiThe transformation system of the old toy was excellent, and it still holds up well even today.

YamashitaSo, we lined up and considered exactly what we wanted to do and how we wanted to do it. In the case of WarGreymon, the most important thing was to reproduce the orange on his legs. We made various small changes to the transformation method, and while keeping the overall image of the transformation the same and recreating the playability of the old toy, we were able to achieve that.

NishizawaAs Bandai's Collectors Division, we want to prioritize not only "high quality" and "coolness," but also the "playability" aspect.

TsurumakiThis transforming figure wasn't created with a figure-like approach, but rather with a toy-like approach.

■ In addition to extracting here, enthusiasm for super evolutionary soul and a lot of development privacy story appeared. Since there is a reference to the future line-up etc, please enjoy listening to the full text of the roundtable discussion at "Figure King No.236" !!

TsurumakiIt combines the best aspects of toys and figures, so we hope you'll buy it and enjoy it.

YamashitaFirst of all, I think that if you pick up WarGreymon, you'll honestly think it's a great toy. I just want you to pick it up and play with it.

NishizawaThe staff is very serious about this. They're working with high energy and passion. WarGreymon will be released in November, so please buy it and then check out what happens next at "TAMASHII NATION 2017" in December. We'd love for everyone to join in on this. Just as children all over the world lent their strength to defeat Diaboromon, we'd love for you to lend us your strength!

■ Finally, as an article that can only be read on the TAMASHII WEB, let's introduce episodes related to Diaboromon supervision, which are silently neglected for the convenience of the magazine, together with the first public images of the Web.

Tsurumaki: When developing Diaboromon, I made quite a few discoveries while watching the footage, like, "Oh, so that's what it looks like. It has four spikes on its back!?" I think that unique features like the number of spikes are things that shouldn't be omitted for the sake of transformation, so I tried to match them as closely as possible to what was shown in the show. And then when Kenji Watanabe supervised it, we made yet another new discovery.

Nishizawa: Mr. Watanabe has been checking even the smallest details. The shape of the claws on Diaboromon's feet was actually wrong in the first prototype we exhibited, so we secretly corrected it for the final version (laughs).

TsurumakiWhat surprised me the most was that there are claw-like details at the ends of the skirt-like parts on Keramon's legs. I only noticed it after it was pointed out to me. Indeed, the illustration drawn by Watanabe-san shows it that way.

Yamashita: That's the most interesting part, isn't it? You start to see things from a fan's perspective. You think, "Oh, so that's how it was!"

TsurumakiI'm glad you supervised it.

NishizawaSince the product hasn't been released yet, there are probably many things that our users don't know, but the concept of "Super Evolution Soul" will become much clearer around the time of Diaboromon, so please look forward to it!

Picked to children once they were chosen -. In the early 2000s, pursuing the concept of reproducing the "evolution" of the monumental figure of the deformed figures, "Digimon Super Evolution Series (Digivolving Series)", which was a huge hit worldwide in "deformation" to the limit. Expressing "pretty" before evolution, "coolness" after evolution "goodness of proportion" with the latest technology and sharp modeling.
Partly die casting and plating are also used, and stereoscopically sticking to the texture of the material. It is this "super evolution spirit" series that aims at the ultimate adult Digimon modified figure.
