Many people want to keep their favorite hero movie or monster movie character at hand. BANDAI SPIRITS' collector's item brand "TAMASHII NATIONS"'s Cinema figures will fulfill such a wish. I would like to talk about its charm from the perspective of a film writer.
This time, the long-awaited release of 4 characters, including the main character, from the drama series "STAR WARS: The Mandalorian" that has made Star Wars fans enthusiastic.

With the addition of heavy infantry STAR WARS: The Mandalorian and armorers, the S.H.Figuarts STAR WARS: The Mandalorian series has become a full lineup
STAR WARS: The Mandalorian is a Star Wars thing, but it's not a movie. It is a serial drama series made for the distribution video service Disney+ (Disney Plus), and was distributed last fall (and winter in Japan). The release of the movie "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker" was about to be released, and it was also the timing when "Star Wars fever" was rising, and the release of "STAR WARS: The Mandalorian" was also a big topic.
In the past, Star Wars has broadcast a spin-off in the TV anime series, which is a gaiden that connects movies. "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" and "Star Wars Rebels" are examples.
However, this work was the first attempt at a spin-off in a live-action drama. In terms of predicting the future of the new Star Wars business, and in terms of how much content Disney's streaming video service will provide, the pioneering "STAR WARS: The Mandalorian" was highly anticipated. However, it turned out to be a wonderful work that perfectly responded to such thoughts.
First of all, to explain this work, “STAR WARS: The Mandalorian” means a legendary battle tribe that exists in the world of Star Wars. They wear STAR WARS: The Mandalorian armor, weapons, and masks (helmets), and are equipped with advanced combat techniques. The main character of this work is one of STAR WARS: The Mandalorian, commonly known as "Mando".
The time was between the movies "Star Wars Episode 6 / Return of the Jedi" and "Star Wars: The Force Awakens", and although the evil empire was defeated, the order was still completely restored to the galaxy. It's not and the confusion is smoldering.
Mando lived as a bounty hunter. One day, Mando meets a mysterious child called "The Child". The Child is targeted by the remnants of the Imperial Army. Feeling fascinated by The Child, Mando fights the Imperial Army and takes his child out. Thus, the escape of Mando and The Child begins.

Basically, the pattern is that Mando and The Child are involved in an incident wherever they go, and thugs chasing The Child are involved. Yes, for me, he told a story like "Lone Wolf and Cub" in the world of Star Wars! (Laughs)
The reason why this work was successful is, of course, that it is interesting as a drama, but I think it is in the looks of the characters of Mando and The Child. This is because it is based on Boba Fett and Yoda, which are extremely popular among Zubari and Star Wars.
Boba Fett and his father Jango Fett appear in the film version. They wear STAR WARS: The Mandalorian armor. Personally, I think he's a character that has as much impact as Darth Vader, but he's just a supporting character because he doesn't have much to do with the story of the Skywalker family, which is the main story of the movie version.
However, because of its coolness, it was popular among fans, and some people wanted to make a series with them as the main characters. The Child, on the other hand, hasn't been revealed yet, but it reminds me of Yoda.

Yes, what makes STAR WARS: The Mandalorian so good is that while it is a drama that reminds us of the two major characters that everyone loves, Boba Fett and Yoda, it is not a drama that features Boba Fett and Yoda.
Those who watch the movie know the fate of Boba Fett and Yoda. Therefore, if they are the main characters, the content of the drama will be restricted in order to be consistent with the movie. In the first place, Boba Fett and Yoda are not involved in the movie.
That's why Boba Fett's coolness has been received, and the completely different setting of the hero character = Mando, Yoda's cuteness has been further evolved, and the completely different setting of the healing character = The Child, while responding to the feelings of the fans, is free. The idea made it possible to create a drama (not too tied to the movie version).
Another reason why "STAR WARS: The Mandalorian" was so popular was that it reminded me of the charm of Star Wars, which is different from the movie version.
First of all, I love the movie version of Star Wars and enjoy every piece, but the movie version is no longer a sci-fi action, but rather a fantasy.
In particular, the lightsaber and the force are related to "sword and magic", and the mysterious characters that appear seem to be somewhere between Alien and fairies. This is a "yes", but I would like to expect it to be interesting as a space action drama with sci-fi gadgets such as space battleships flying around and ray guns.
I think that this "STAR WARS: The Mandalorian" is challenging "the fun of Star Wars as a space action" at the point where the main character is a bounty hunter in space equipped with various weapons.
When I heard that figures of "STAR WARS: The Mandalorian" would be released as soon as possible, I gave a big nod. As I mentioned earlier, the main characters of "STAR WARS: The Mandalorian" are cool and cute characters that have been redesigned to be even cooler and cuter, making them suitable for figures. Especially in Star Wars, "STAR WARS: The Mandalorian" has elements of Kamen Rider x Gundam, so it should be released as S.H.Figuarts, which is the soul of Bandai's character toys (laugh).

Mando in STAR WARS: The Mandalorian doesn't take off his helmet until the very end (played by a rising star named Pedro Pascal). Therefore, they express their emotions through their actions and appearance.
"S.H.Figuarts The STAR WARS: The Mandalorian (Besker Armor) (STAR WARS : The Mandalorian)" has many attached parts, and it is possible to reproduce almost the battle of Mando in the drama. This means that you can also express the feelings of the mando hidden under the helmet. I'm looking forward to seeing how I can create my favorite mando scene.
And The Child! He matched the scale with the mandal. (Maybe the smallest character in SHFiguarts history?)
It's cute by itself, but I'd like you to combine it with Mandal to reproduce a good combination in the drama. Or you can put it side by side with Yoda of SHFiguarts and direct grandpa and grandchildren as a play unique to figures.
Since these two are the main characters, it is natural that they will be commercialized, but in addition to this, "Heavy Infantry STAR WARS: The Mandalorian" and "Armorer" will also be commercialized. "Heavy Infantry STAR WARS: The Mandalorian" appears in episode 3 "Chapter 3: Sin", but I'm glad that this is the heavy armor of STAR WARS: The Mandalorian. If Mando is a knight, he's a heavy infantryman. This character's turn was small, but the coolness was by far.

The quality of firearms parts that can be achieved by TAMASHII NATIONS, which has worked on numerous finished robot figures.
More armor. A female craftsman who makes STAR WARS: The Mandalorian armor. You have the right tools. She has the strength to repel stormtroopers with a hammer. It's fun to recreate that scene by decorating it with a Stormtrooper figure.

A design that combines the beauty of a female hero and the coolness of STAR WARS: The Mandalorian.
The set includes hammers, fire chopsticks, camtonos, and vescar plates with high play value.
Many of you may have collected and lined up Darth Vader, Stormtroopers, Jedi Knights, and Sith, but if you line up the four characters in this release, along with the previously released Boba Fett, you will see that this STAR WARS: The Mandalorian family is also a representative icon of the Star Wars universe. I think you will find that the family is also a representative icon of the Star Wars universe.
Season 2 of STAR WARS: The Mandalorian will be released on October 30th. It is said that even more attractive characters will appear, and the main character Mando's equipment will surely change, so I think that the number of "STAR WARS: The Mandalorian" figures will increase steadily from now on.
In the first place, this series is directed by Jon Favreau, the director of "Iron Man", so STAR WARS: The Mandalorian armor may have as many variations as Iron Man 's armor.
"Star Wars" released in 1977 (released in Japan in 1978) has a great influence on the movie industry, pop culture in general, and otaku culture after that. One of them is the commercialization of movies.
In short, it seems that the characters that appeared in the movie were rarely made into goods before "Star Wars". In other words, "Star Wars" is a very important work from the perspective of cine toys.
It is no exaggeration to say that the history of all Cinetoys goes hand in hand with the history of Star Wars.
This time's "STAR WARS: The Mandalorian "item is also a gem that remains in that history.
