MAZINKAIZER SKL, the jet-black giant robot that has driven numerous enemies to the depths of hell on the devious Machine Island, finally appears on the field of SOUL OF CHOGOKIN! From the many parts that add color to the series, to the sword and gun action of its two nefarious pilots, all the details of the "baddest" MAZIN are now revealed via all-new product sample photos!

SOUL OF CHOGOKIN GX-102 MAZINKAIZER SKL

The packaging is vertically designed, and features MAZINKAIZER SKL clad wearing a cloak. It has an aura that sets it apart from other "Mazinger Z" products. The instruction manual also includes product development sketches by Tsuyoshi Nonaka, designer of the mecha.

The super-aggressive design that epitomizes the dark and violent style of MAZINKAIZER SKL has been rigorously sculpted by SOUL OF CHOGOKIN. A major feature of this model is the fusion between the massive look of the alloy materials and the sharpness of the rigid materials.

At approximately 200 mm in height, the figure is about the same size as other MAZINGER Z items in the SOUL OF CHOGOKIN line, but the angles of the shoulder armor and its strongly defined proportions give it a presence that seems larger than its actual size. Its back is equipped with a retractable joint for mounting the Ganzanto Sword, and the interior of the stand can hold parts that are not in use.

The cloak it was wearing when it first appeared has been painted with shadows, as well as given a sculpting and texture befitting of a figure. The atmosphere is enhanced when it's worn over the metallic mechanical body of the MAZINKAIZER SKL.

The cape is divided into parts and has 6 articulated joints: 2 in the front, 2 on the shoulders, and 2 in the back, allowing you to make it look like it's blowing in the wind. It's also possible to mount the Ganzanto Sword on its back while wearing the cloak.

A chunk of rock that allows the Ganzanto Sword to be displayed upright is also included. The handle of the Ganzanto Sword extends and retracts when rotated, allowing for a greater degree of freedom of posing that enables it to be held in both hands or slung it over the shoulder, as we'll soon show you.

The Skull Pilder, which acts as the cockpit, comes in two versions: One for docking, and one for Flight Mode. The differences in the eyes, which turn green while in flight mode, and the jet ports on the back are also recreated.

First, let's start with the main pilot, Ken Kaido, showing off the Ganzanto Sword in action!
The plated blade of the Ganzanto Sword shines in the light! Combined with the metallic gold of the fangs that extend from the sword, this weapon possesses both power and beauty.

The chest piece that serves as the Breastrigger's grip can turn upward to prevent any interference with the arms when the Ganzanto Sword is held in front of its chest.

"It's about time we switched!"

Next up we have the second pilot, Ryo Magami, who specializes in gun action! Just like in the anime, the Breastrigger is removed from the chest and separated into two guns, one for each hand. In this form, showy actions such as jumping and melee combat look even more impressive. The wide range of motion from the shoulders to the arms, which can be freely positioned horizontally or straight ahead, is also worthy of note.

The gun magazines are interchangeable, and by removing the fins from around its forearms, the magazines can be swapped out in the same way as the anime.

Remove the forearms for the "Tornado Crusher Punch"! By using the Ganzanto Sword gripping hand parts and the chunk of rock that the sword stands on, you can recreate the imagery from the battle scene in the first episode, where the far away Ganzanto Sword is returned to MAZINKAIZER SKL's hand while it attacks.

"It's time for round two!"

Recreate the wound in its right eye with the interchangeable "one-eyed face part" that is also included!

The Breastrigger can be turned into an axe-shaped weapon, the "Breastomahawk," that uses dedicated parts for both the tip and the handle. This is the first time this weapon has been sculpted, and SOUL OF CHOGOKIN includes all the armaments used in the original anime.

With an abundance of parts, such as the "one-eyed face," "cloak," and "Breastomahawk" combination, creating a toy that does not exist in the original MAZINKAIZER SKL series is a lot of fun. All of the equipment has a very striking design, so take advantage of that and play around with the MAZINKAIZER SKL, which has become the SOUL OF CHOGOKIN, to your heart's content.

In addition, all 92 episodes of "MAZINGER Z" will begin airing on TOKYO MX on October 4 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of its first broadcast. The SOUL OF CHOGOKIN GX-105 MAZINGER Z -KAKUMEI SHINKA- is released in December 2022, and the SOUL OF CHOGOKIN GX-25R GARADA K7 & GX-26R DOUBLAS M2 is releasedin January 2023.
