Hello everyone! I'm Akiba, in charge of planning for the SHFigurarts My Hero Academia Series!
In this blog, we will be introducing "SHFigurarts IZUKU MIDORIYA," which is scheduled for release on Saturday, December 28, 2024, focusing particularly on the "soulful movement" that was created with such care!

Regarding upper body movement

First, let me introduce you to the movement of the upper body!
As shown below, this doll can move back and forth widely, allowing you to arch and bend forward beautifully without compromising your body lines.

In addition, the shoulders are movable and the parts framed in yellow can be pulled out, allowing for powerful poses with the arms pushed forward!

By combining the above-mentioned range of motion of the shoulders with the axis of the upper body and waist, and twisting your body as much as you can on the horizontal axis, you will be able to perform a full swing using your whole body!!

Regarding foot movement

Next, we will introduce the movement of the legs!
As you can see below, not only can you lift your leg as high as you want, but the shape of the back of the knee, which gets in the way when crouching, has been shaved down as much as possible while maintaining the shape of a movable figure, allowing for incredible mobility!

In addition, the hip joints can be opened widely, allowing for dynamic standing poses like the one below!

Cloak parts

Next up, we'd like to introduce the movable cape parts inherited from Gran Torino!
S.H.Figuarts The figure has a full range of motion in order to reproduce the action of the cloak being swept away, just like in the movie.

By providing this range of motion, it adds the effect of wind fluttering when taking action poses, making it possible to pose with a greater sense of speed!

By taking full advantage of the above mobility, you can recreate Deku's unique dynamic kicking action with his hips engaged, as well as a variety of other action poses!

This is a really fun figure to play with, so I hope that fans of action figures, as well as those who have never handled an action figure before, will have fun finding their favorite pose!
