In episode 26 of "ULTRAMAN LEO" broadcast in 1974, ULTRA MANTLE was presented to Leo by the legendary giant Ultraman King in "Ultraman King versus Magician: From a One Dimensional Man". In the main story of "Leo," it was used as a weapon or armor, taking advantage of its transformable function, and was never worn as a cloak itself.

After some time, Leo finally appeared wearing a cloak in the 2010 original video work "Ultra Ginga Densetsu Gaiden ULTRAMAN ZERO VS Darklops Zero". It must have been a sight that fans have dreamed of for years, dashing to the crisis of his disciple, ULTRAMAN ZERO with his majestic appearance.
