"ULTRA MANTLE" is now available from ULTRA ARTS, that is S.H.Figuarts Ultraman Series, clothed by ULTRAMAN LEO! Here are its details!

ULTRA MANTLE was given to Leo by the legendary giant, Ultraman King, in episode 26 of "ULTRAMAN LEO Leo," "Ultraman King vs. the Wizard: From Issun-boshi," which aired in 1974. In the main story of "Leo," it was used as a weapon and armor, taking advantage of its shape-shifting capabilities, and was never worn as a mantle itself.

After some time, Leo finally appeared wearing a cloak in the 2010 original video work "Ultra Ginga Densetsu Gaiden ULTRAMAN ZERO VS Darklops Zero". It must have been a sight that fans have dreamed of for years, dashing to the crisis of his disciple, ULTRAMAN ZERO with his majestic appearance.

The cloak itself is modeled in the same fabric material as the already released "S.H.Figuarts BROTHERS' MANTLE" and "S.H.Figuarts ULTRA ZERO MANTLE" products. The color difference between the front and back is, of course, different from that of BROTHERS' MANTLE, which has a strong glossy feel, and even a subdued texture has been pursued.

 

Of course, just like the "BROTHERS' MANTLE" and "ULTRA ZERO MANTLE," the shape can be freely changed using the wires built into the edge. You can flap the cloak and act out a battle scene!
