Tamashii Blog "The shadow of the machine is like a god of death." An introduction to ROBOT SPIRITS <SIDE AB> SKULLMA factory samples!

ROBOT SPIRITS <SIDE AB> Skullma

Hello everyone.

I am in charge of planning for the "Aura Battler Dunbine" series. Today, from the "AURA FHANTASM" series, I would like to introduce a factory sample of "Skarma", a product that I personally have longed for.

"ROBOT SPIRITS <SIDE AB> Skullma"We are accepting reservations until 23:00 on Sunday, May 22!

ROBOT SPIRITS <SIDE AB> Skullma

Scheduled to be shipped in August 2022 item sold at Tamashii web shop

* The image in the article is a product image taken of a factory sample under development. Different from the actual product.
* The pedestal / support "TAMASHII STAGE ACT ME CHANICS" used in the article is sold separately.
* All ROBOT SPIRITS series products other than "Skarma" in the article are out-of-order products.

Compared to the AURA FHANTASM aircraft group that has been commercialized so far, this aircraft has less setting sketches and information, making it difficult to commercialize.

Therefore, the setting of the back and coloring is transcribed as the original ROBOT SPIRITS, and it is three-dimensionalized.

The original sketch of Skarma drawn by Yutaka Izubuchi is characterized by four arms, a slender body, and a deformed body that sets it apart from other Aura Battlers.

The skeleton of the monster was adopted as the exterior. The unique setting of this aircraft also enhances its unique presence.

This "AURA FHANTASM" series is different from the TV version "Aura Battler Dunbine" series, and is attractive because of the large amount of information unique to the serial project. Therefore, it is very difficult to create a three-dimensional model, and even today, when most robotic products are designed using CAD data, a master model is created by hand to reflect the fine organic curves. Among them, Skarma is one of the most difficult to make into a three-dimensional figure, but we received many requests from users for commercialization, and we were able to make it into a product.

The two "arms" that extend from the converter, which is a feature of Skarma, can be freely pose by incorporating a roll mechanism on the shoulders and elbows.

Furthermore, by holding the "scythe" with your normal arm, the eerie but attractive silhouette that is likened to a god of death stands out. Although it was a skull that could only be seen as a front view setting manuscript in the series, I would like you to recreate your own dream of Byston Wellworld by picking up a three-dimensional object.

Vilamby, Viales, and BASTOLE stood in the way of the Zelana squad as aircraft of the "Country of A" lineage. I tried arranging it with AURA FHANTASM's GUITORRE and Biares (AURA FHANTASM), imagining the relationship in the TV version of Dunbine. Overall, Skarma's strange shape stands out even more when compared to the two machines that are massive and remind us of high fighting performance. It must have been a machine with the same mobility and agility as BASTOLE. I can't help but wonder if the skeleton itself was designed to reduce the weight of the body!

The dark pink outer shell has a matte grain finish, and the dark blue exterior and nails that accentuate it have a gloss treatment to further accentuate the extraordinary atmosphere.

The image is of Skarma vs. BELLVINE(Leader of the NA royal Knights specification). The charm of Skarma stands out when lined up with a heroic design machine.

Inking is used on the back of the converter. The grotesque atmosphere is created by the molding of the wings, which emphasizes the wrinkles more than other aircraft. Personally, I love this back view ...!

ROBOT SPIRITS <SIDE AB> Skullma

A decoration that pays homage to the 16th episode of "Aura Battler Dunbine", "Above Tokyo".

The display with the concept that reproduces the TV version scene is also very good with delusions progressing! is.

The four arms and legs that stretched out are like beetles and crane flies when placed side by side with the Sirbine. It is also fun to think about what Mr. Izubuchi was designed with as a motif at that time.

This is the Skullma product sample review.

The "AURA FHANTASM" series has a different appeal from the TV version series. Thanks to all the fans, we are still planning to develop it. We are planning a three-dimensional object of the Dunbine series for next year when the TV version series will be the 40th anniversary of the work, so please look forward to it! (It seems that everyone's long-awaited aircraft will be released within this year ...!)

This time, we will unveil the aircraft that we want to line up with Skullma for the first time from a number of aircraft under consideration for planning!
