a recreation by the figure series that combines
the ever-evolving
Tamashii Digital Coloring Technology
with the movability of action figures
in T.M.Revolution.
Pursuing authenticity, digital modeling
reproduces the features of the original subject in minute detail.
The feel of real skin is faithfully recreated using
digital coloring that gives an unprecedented
sense of reality that is hard to believe in a figure
measuring approximately 142 mm in size.
In order to achieve an authentic recreation,
Tamashii Digital Coloring Technology has been employed.
Even T.M.Revolution fans will be amazed at this recreation of the man himself,
which surpasses what one would expect of a
figure measuring approximately 14 cm in length.
T.M.Revolution's signature poses can
all be recreated using the movable joints.
By capturing his entire body,
we've been able to recreate T.M. Revolution as he looks today.
His famous "HOT LIMIT" costume has also been
created anew for the figure.

The Journey to Become a Figure
Photography and CG Data Creation

Sometime in 2022: At a photo studio in Tokyo, every detail of T.M.Revolutions's
muscular physique is scanned, and that body is used as the basis for the figure.
CG Data Creation
Several cameras positioned 360 degrees
around the room take pictures
simultaneously, creating three-dimensional
CG scanning data from the images.
This is the original data used for the prototype figure.
Sculpting a Prototype Model of the Figure
The scanned data as is would be too much information when applied to a S.H.Figuarts product,
so the data about T.M.Revolution's physical appearance is kept intact and action capabilities
are added to the figure. The resulting CG prototype is then output as a three-dimensional object.
The output 3D model is supervised by the artist himself, while at the same time movability verification and
proportion checks are continually carried out to ensure the model is as close to T.M.Revolution as possible.
Creating the Costume with Three-Dimensional CG Data
Finally, the costume has been selected! It's the "HOT LIMIT (New '22 Ver.)"!
The T.M.Revolution figure comes to S.H.Figuarts wearing a newly created 2022 version of his
iconic HOT LIMIT costume that matches his pumped-up physical appearance!
This recreation of the HOT LIMIT costume was designed with the same pattern as the original, and maximizes the appeal of his physical features!

What kind of process did I go through for the modeling of this figure project?
I was really happy to be able to see it. Being able to see yourself as three-dimensional object isn't an opportunity that's easy to come by. It was the first time for me to see my own back in physical form like that with my own eyes. In terms of development, I was really impressed by the thoroughness of the process, including the scanning of my body.
I was amazed by the technological innovation going into the figure, its accuracy, and most of all, the skill and expressiveness by the sculptors who created the first prototype.
Thanks to all of you, "HOT LIMIT" has become a song and costume that many people will enjoy for a long time to come. Now, we've gotten the opportunity to put all of that into a figure.
The song and what it represents is gradually moving from my hands to something that belongs to everyone... I think that's the most gratifying thing for those of us on the creative side, actually.
The song is no longer just mine. It's become something everyone shares. People want to connect their enthusiasm to this kind of figure project, and I'm very grateful for that.
It also brings me so much joy to see that there are people who share this same enthusiasm.
