Promotion/Web Manager
Introducing a day in the life!

Career Recruitment3rd year at the company

In my previous job, I was in charge of event planning, new business planning, sales, etc. at an event company. I applied to this company because I wanted to work at a larger company and deliver entertainment from a different perspective and in a different way than before.

Job satisfaction

I feel very happy when I see customers writing positive comments on social media about the products in the promotional campaigns and event exhibitions that I have planned! I also feel rewarded when the web campaigns I have planned get a lot of hits!

  • 10:00go to the office

As soon as I got to work, I checked my email. I received the results of the supervision work I had submitted from the copyright holder, so I checked the contents and replied. I also received a message from the web production company asking me to confirm the updates to TAMASHII WEB, so I checked that as well.

  • 10:30Regular team meetings

Participate in weekly team meetings to confirm when new product information will be released on TAMASHII WEB. Also, progress on contracts and work, as well as vacations and business trips, are shared at these meetings.

  • 11:15Material creation

We will create an agenda for the regular TAMASHII WEB meeting in the afternoon. We will summarize the items to be confirmed related to TAMASHII WEB such as the schedule of products whose information will be released for the next two months and the progress of the web page launch.

  • 12:00lunch

I go to a nearby restaurant with everyone on my team! When I'm busy, like before an event, I sometimes buy lunch boxes at a nearby supermarket and eat them in the break space.

  • 13:00Sharing the progress of work with copyright holders

We hold meetings with copyright holders to share progress on the titles we are in charge of promoting. We create product merchandising and advertising plans to coincide with the peak of interest for the titles.

  • 14:30Check the release schedule for new products

TAMASHII WEB release schedule is managed by the TAMASHII WEB staff in the promotion team, so we check the release schedule for new products with the promotion staff for each product. If there is a discrepancy in understanding the release schedule, it could lead to the mistaken release of information, so we check the schedule carefully.

  • 15:00New CM production meeting

We discuss the content of product commercials to be aired during new anime time slots with the product planning team and video production companies. We also attend auditions and filming.

  • 16:00Meeting with product planning team

We discuss with the product planning team about the display design for the next event. Taking into consideration the timing of the release of product information, we exchange opinions to decide what to display at the event and how to present it.

  • 17:00Preparation and submission of supervision materials

We will prepare materials for the supervision to be submitted to the copyright holder. We will compile materials such as the exhibition image of the event and storyboards for the video, and submit them by email to the person in charge at the copyright holder.

  • 18:00Check your web analytics data

We will check the analytical data on access to TAMASHII WEB. Based on the data, such as countries with increasing access and pages that are attracting a lot of attention, we will consider future web strategies.

  • 18:30Task organization

I organize the tasks I have left undone and the tasks for the next day. I also go to events that I think will be useful or to movie previews.

  • 19:00Leave the company

Today, I had dinner with a colleague who joined the company as a career veteran in a different division for the first time in a while! After joining the company, there are training sessions for mid-career hires, so I was able to meet people from other divisions who joined at a similar time to me!
