Introducing a day in the life!

Career Recruitment14th year since joining the company

During his university days, he worked part-time at the Gundam Cafe, which sparked his interest in planning and developing menus for character cafes, and he joined the department in charge of the Gundam Cafe. After working at the Gundam Cafe for 10 years, he was transferred to the Collectors Division.

Job satisfaction

As I am in charge of directly managed stores, I get to see the customers' reactions and their happy faces, which is one of the rewarding aspects of my job! I am also not tied to one work or product brand, and I get to be involved in event planning, which makes my job fun and rewarding!

  • 10:00go to the office

When I arrive at work, I immediately check the daily reports received from the stores. I check the store's sales situation and the number of visitors, and if there are any issues that require immediate attention, I contact the person in charge. I also check communications from clients and members of other teams in the Collectors Division.

  • 11:15Meeting with the CS team

We share and consult with the CS team about new events planned for the store or measures to be implemented in the store to see if there are any issues with implementing them.

  • 11:30Regular Meetings

Regular weekly meetings will be held with members of the directly managed store team, including the store manager. Consultations will be held regarding measures for events held at the store and handouts, and progress will be confirmed. In addition, information related to store operations will be shared, such as trouble cases and information release dates for the store's website.

  • 12:00lunch

I had lunch at the company cafeteria in the building next to the office! The cafeteria has a variety of different dishes, so you can eat whatever you feel like that day. My recommendation is the pasta that comes with a small piece of bread and a drink!

  • 13:00Management Planning Meeting

We will hold a meeting with the external operating company in charge of running the store. Since new products will be released on the weekend, we will consult and make arrangements to ensure smooth operation, such as planning the waiting line and distributing numbered tickets.

  • 14:00Store Event Meeting

Regarding events to be held in the store in a few months, we hold meetings with promotion team members, product planning team members, and external construction companies. We come up with ideas for what kind of events to hold and what kind of displays to have, and then we fine-tune them.

  • 15:00Creating a proposal for miscellaneous goods

You will be planning the miscellaneous goods to be sold in the store in the future and creating a proposal document.

  • 16:00Meeting with a miscellaneous goods design company

We share the details of the goods we are planning with the design company and work together to fine-tune the design direction and production schedule plans.

  • 17:00Material creation

Create weekly reports summarizing store sales, visitor numbers, etc.

  • 18:30Getting ready to leave work

I reply to emails and organize tomorrow's tasks. I also summarize any confirmation items that came up in today's meeting.

  • 19:00leaving work

Today I finished work a little earlier than usual, so I went to the supermarket to buy dinner! I get busy before events at the store, and sometimes I get home a little late, but it's relatively easy to plan my private life.
