Brave REIDEEN

This giant robot anime aired for a total of 50 episodes from April 1975 to March 1976. Reideen, built in the ancient Mu Empire, is revived by merging with the boy Hibiki Kou, then "fading in" to fight against the invasion of the Demon Empire. The series became popular for its unique style, which set it apart from other robot anime of the time, with the mysterious god-statue robot Reideen, his blood relatives from the ancient Mu Empire, and his supernatural powers. MDs such as CHOGOKIN and Jumbo Machinder were also huge hits.
