It's time to continue the legend. As one of the flagship works of "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) in the 1980s, Kinnikuman led the magazine's huge leap in circulation. Furthermore, the anime that began airing in 1983 had a viewer rating of over 20%. Seven theatrical movies were produced, and the capsule toy "Kinkeshi" recorded a huge boom with a total of over 180 million units shipped, making the legendary title "Kinnikuman" a social phenomenon! In November 2011, it made a surprising comeback as a weekly manga, resuming the story from where it left off in "Weekly Shonen Jump" as "Kinnikuman: Perfect Origin." Now, at long last, the continuation is being made into an anime!
