My Hero Academia
The "My Hero Academia" anime is based on the comic series by Kohei Horikoshi, which was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (published by Shueisha) over the course of 10 years from 2014 to 2024, and has sold over 100 million copies worldwide. The story is set in a world where about 80% of the population has some kind of supernatural ability called a Quirk. The story follows the growth, battles, and friendships of high school student Izuku Midoriya and his classmates as they aim to become heroes, a profession that protects people and society from accidents, disasters, criminals, and villains who misuse their Quirks!
