About the Series

KAIJU No. 8
A TV anime adaptation of Naoya Matsumoto's popular comic "Kaiju No. 8," is currently being serialized on the manga app Jump+. 
This is the story of Kafka Hibino, who aspires to join the Japan Defense Force to subjugate kaiju, but is infected by an unknown kaiju parasite and becomes a kaiju himself. 
The story depicts him continuing to chase his dreams to be in the Japanese Defense Force, which is responsible for subjugating kaiju, even though he is given the code name "Kaiju No. 8."
