天才ロボット工学者であるシュトロハイム博士がマジンガーZに対抗するために造ったスーパーロボットだ。頭部のムチは各関節部がボールジョイントで自在に可動。
「ラインX１」の秘密は、シュトロハイム博士が娘として造った美少女アンドロイド・ローレライと一体化して感情が宿るロボットとなることだ。胸のローレライフェイスの表情が変わる！
ローレライと一体化する前の無表情な胸部フェイスパーツ。
ローレライと一体化すると胸の顔色が変わり、表情に激情が宿る！その変化をフェイスパーツの差し替えで表現。
「ダイアナンA」は劇場作品『マジンガーZ 対 暗黒大将軍』にて登場した際のカラーリングでリニューアル。
「ダイアナンA」の胸部にはおなじみのミサイル発射ギミックを搭載！
ミサイル射出後のディテールパーツも付属。
「ダイアナンA」の頭部にはヒロイン・弓さやかが乗るバイク型マシン「スカーレットモビル」が合体・分離する。
