SOUL OF CHOGOKIN GX-68 THE KING OF BRAVES GAOGAIGAR is re-released!
SOUL OF CHOGOKIN GX-104 GAOFIGHGAR released on July 29, 2023!
Recreate the Final Fusion without needing to switch out parts!
This fighting mechanoid is a combination (Final Fusion) of the GaoFar (a transformed Phantom Gao that incorporates Guy) and three new GaoMachines: The Stealth Gao III, the Liner Gao II, and the Drill Gao II.
Its special moves include Drill Knee, a knee attack that uses a knee drill; Broken Phantom, which separates the right arm and ejects it like a rocket; Protect Wall, a defensive field generated by the left arm; and Hell and Heaven, a combination of offense and defense. It also utilizes a similar tool system to the GaoGaiGar, including the Dividing Driver.
The new King of Braves! GAOFIGHGAR, the leading robot from "The King of Braves GaoGaiGar Final," comes to SOUL OF CHOGOKIN! Packed full of gimmicks unique to SOUL OF CHOGOKIN, this figure can transform and combine!
It can transform from the Phantom Gao into the Gaofar, and then into the GAOFIGHGAR via Final Fusion with each GaoMachine—all without the need to replace parts! Furthermore, it's loaded with the type of gimmicks you've come to expect from SOUL OF CHOGOKIN, such as a rotating drill, Ul-Tech engine deployment, and the ability to detach the auxiliary rocket from the Liner Gao II! A luxurious stand is also included, allowing the figure to be displayed in its flying form. In addition, for the first time ever, the Hypersonic Flight Mode form introduced in "The King of Kings" has been recreated!
The ultimate GaoFighGar is reborn here! The carefully designed mechanisms enable each form to be moved, transformed, and combined while maintaining the correct proportions! The use of die-cast parts gives the figure a luxurious finish and provides a sense of stability when transforming.
The Phantom Gao's distinctive form has been recreated down to the finest detail! The cockpit can be opened and closed. The landing legs can also be deployed. Pose the transformed GaoFar with heroic style!
Every joint in the body is fully articulated, allowing the figure to strike a variety of action poses. A shouting face part is included. The Phantom Claw can also be deployed.
Each GaoMachine has been faithfully recreated. Equipped with the gimmicks typical of SOUL OF CHOGOKIN, the Drill Gao II's drill incorporates a special built-in gear that can rotate in reverse at each joint. The Liner Gao II's auxiliary rocket has a powerful spring-loaded ejection mechanism.
The Final Fusion transforms and combines everything together just like in the anime. Various gimmicks have been incorporated into each part, and the process of transforming and combining itself is a joy to experience.
Included are a GaoFighGar head for transforming and combining (top), along with one that is more focused on form (bottom).
Hell and Heaven comes with dedicated chest and hand parts. The high degree of articulation allows for powerful poses to be made.
The Phantom Ring is replicated using clear parts. By using the separately sold TAMASHII STAGE ACT MECHANICS, the figure can be displayed while shooting the ring.
The Ul-Tech engine is reproduced by covering the Stealth Gao III with effect parts. A dedicated stand is also included to allow the figure to be stably displayed while in flight.
The Supersonic Flight Mode form that appeared in "The King of Kings: GaoGaiGar Vs. Betterman" is recreated for the first time ever! The toy also incorporates the original gimmick of attaching each GaoMachine to the GaoFar by using their respective combining mechanisms.
Can be combined with the separately sold GX-69 GOLDY MARG (or the no longer available GX-69R version) to use the Goldion Hammer. You can also attach the Dividing Driver that comes with the separately sold GX-68 THE KING OF BRAVES GAOGAIGAR.

"Our courage will not die!," an illustrated column by director Yoshitomo Yonetani that is serialized in the monthly Hobby Japan magazine, makes a "business trip" to Tamashii Web in this newly drawn column for the SOUL OF CHOGOKIN GX-104 GAOFIGHGAR!
Number.055.5 Supersonic Flight Mode FormNow to reveal the biggest spoilers!
The Supersonic Flight Mode form of the GaoFar and the GaoMachines was invented by author Yuichiro Takeda for the novel version of "The King of Kings: GaoGaiGar Vs. Betterman." It can utilize the six rocket boosters of the Liner Gao II for propulsion, which allows it to fly even faster than the GaoFighGar, which removes its boosters during Final Fusion. The drill rotation reduces its aerodynamic drag and the Stealth Gao III's Ul-Tech engine can be used at full power. The GaoFar's high-speed movement function, the Phantom Illusion, is also utilized, making for a form that excels in linear flight.
The comic version is still in the works, but the cyborg Renais will replace Guy in the Final Fusion into the GaoFighGar! Although she has had to engage in actual combat on the spot without being able to make any adjustments to the mechanisms and their parameters, she has been conducting a lot Supersonic Flight Mode exercises in order to familiarize herself with the machine. Commander Guy advised her to just go for it, but Alouette, who was in charge of the program, remained calm and advised to stay level. Just maintaining the GaoFar is a tremendous strain, and Renais, who is comprised of a lot of biological parts, would never have the capacity to heed such comments. "G-G-G-G-Gagagh! My heart, my body, my stomach! They're all hot!" Did the sweets she just ate send her into rapid-fire mode?!

Yoshitomo Yonetani
(Director of "The King of Braves GaoGaiGar Final")
The SOUL OF CHOGOKIN GAOFIGHGAR has a great feel to it, and the use of high-quality materials make it stand out among other toys. Knowledge regarding the weight of parts that are easy to play with, the materials used for these parts, and the strength of the joints has been passed down from previous experience in the form of technology. SOUL OF CHOGOKIN's GAOFIGHGAR is the culmination of that knowledge. Even the more sophisticated toy lovers of years past may be surprised by the high degree of perfection achieved. That said, the alloy toy also has plenty of weight to it, and that is always a good thing.
When a toy is packed with such a high level of craftsmanship, reaching a level that cannot simply be imitated overnight, it is a form of art and culture in itself.
The GaoFighGar is a robot that was catastrophically damaged in the middle of "The King of the Braves GaoGaiGar Final," and after that it was gone. Yuichiro Takeda, author of the novel version of "The King of Kings," was the one who came up with the prototype Phantom Gao setting and revived the GaoFighGar. To be able to do such a thing must mean he really loves it, don't you think? With this release from SOUL OF CHOGOKIN, I hope that people who haven't seen the GaoFighGar in a while think that it's still really cool.
