Luffy from "One Piece" arrives in the third installment of "IMAGINATION WORKS," the figure brand with peak movability!
In order to make a 2D character three-dimensional, we have applied "dense modeling" and "fine coloring" that can only be done because it is about 1/9 scale, which is larger than the standard 1/12 scale, and "the best appearance". "IMAGINATION WORKS", a series of "highest peak movable figures" sent by TAMASHII NATIONS in pursuit of ". The third is "MONKEY.D.LUFFY" wearing the latest costumes from "ONE PIECE".
- Modeling
"Modeling with Depth"
The figure's densely-detailed modelling is possible due to this larger, 1/9 scale model. The increased size allows for a more intricate model with a greater sense of depth.
- Coloring
"Coloring that Gives the Figures Real Precence"
The rich coloring on the figure's clothing further accentuates its depth and dimension.
■ Texture
"The shirt and cloak are made of cloth to create a sense of authenticity."
Luffy's "shirt" and "cloak" are reproduced with cloth.
■ Value
"Method of creating facial expression variations"
The figure uses a system that combines various facial expression parts with various eye parts.
Luffy can appear with or without his hat.
· Movability
"Guided movement"
Adopted a joint structure to achieve both proportions and movement. Various poses of Luffy are decided.
Wires are placed in the cloak and shirt, so you can create the movement of your clothes.
The upper body is covered with clothes to hide the movable division, so you can take various poses while maintaining the best appearance.
By replacing the arms, it is possible to reproduce the state of wearing armed colors.
Each part is finely modeled to increase the sense of density.

A series that combines high-density models with finely-detailed coloring in pursuit of the best-looking three-dimensional recreations of 2D characters that have the highest level of movability in the TAMASHI NATIONS brand. This level of detail is possible because IMAGINATION WORKS uses 1/9 scale models instead of the typical 1/12 scale.
