Metal Armor Dragnar 1 Custom is the latest model for the 2020s and is now available in a completely new HI-METAL R design. The distinctive "frame structure" is reproduced with hatch opening ver. A.N.I.M.E. in various places.
The "Dragnar 1 Custom" operated by the main character Kane Wakaba from the 80s real robot anime "Metal Armor Dragonar" is now available in HI-METAL R! This new item incorporates a new interpretation of the design and ver. A.N.I.M.E.!
[FRONT VIEW] While following the silhouette of the animation setting picture, adding details and adjusting the balance of each part to enhance the persuasive power as a humanoid weapon, it is a model suitable for the 2020s.
[BACK VIEW] The large main wings characterize "humanoid weapons that fly in the sky." Also pay attention to the exposed frame and the mechanics around the thrusters.
The setting image was reinterpreted under the theme of "humanoid weapons flying in the sky" by toy designer Kentaro Hayashi. Under the supervision of Sunrise, modeling is done with T-REX, which has a reputation for designing robot toys.
The details of each part of the aircraft are examined with reference to the actual fighter aircraft of the 1980s, which was the same period as the Dragner broadcast. The persuasive power to fly comes from such an arrangement.
The "independent body frame structure" that is the most distinctive feature of the Dragnar's settings is reproduced with hatch-opening ver. A.N.I.M.E. in various parts of the armor. It achieves both realism and accuracy while also increasing the play value as a toy.
The armor on the head, chest, shoulders, sleeves, waist, thighs, and lower legs can be deployed to expose the internal frame. In addition, the armor also features a movable opening and closing ver. A.N.I.M.E. for the "cylinder-type cockpit," a first for Tamashii Item Dragnar.
The armored hatch opening ver. A.N.I.M.E. in various parts of the aircraft was designed with the idea in mind that the Dragnars, who fly around the front lines as "guerrillas" in the movie, would also be carrying out maintenance on their aircraft at bases that lack adequate facilities, and the directions in which the armor is deployed were determined based on this.
A handrail gun and a super hybrid shield can be equipped on both hands as standard equipment of Dragner 1 Custom. The shoulder bomb on the right shoulder is also removable. Suspended on the main wing is a 4-unit dual missile pod.
The assault knife stored in the calf can also be taken out and equipped. A total of four spare magazines for railguns are set on the lower arm, which can be removed and stored inside the shield.
