Finally, the final episode of "HUG To! PreCure" will be broadcast on January 27. We invited two directors and producers who worked on this film to talk about the journey from the start of the project to the final episode and the thoughts they put into the film. In addition, we also heard your impressions after watching the "S.H.Figuarts CURE YELL" that was announced this time.
■【Precure as 15th anniversary】
- Please tell me from the planning process of this work first.
Naito:"HUG! Precure "as a work of the 15th anniversary of the series, there was an image of deployment such as all-star movies and live from the beginning. When aligning with the successive pretty creatures, I wanted to make it "strong pre-cure" that can not be buried even in the center. Based on such a vague direction, I talked with Tsubota Fumi of the series composition, and I joined Mr. Sato and Mr. Zakko at the place where I made the knapsack that became the axis. It will be a duration of about two years of meetings.

Sato:Since a certain degree of pillar was called at a certain place, I started by asking "What kind of things do you want to do?" Also, regarding "pretty cure" it is a completely amateur, so it was a start from "Where is" HUG! Pretty Cure "?"

Zakko:My role is related to the work site.

- What is conscious of when working on girls?
Zakko:I am not conscious of "girls' thing too much", and it is enough to refer to "what girls prefer" as an added element. Just keep in mind that "Pictures that should not be shown to children" always. Regardless of gender, it is consciousness as a pure child program.
- Regarding girls, Mr. Sato of the authority, how is the impression of Nichiasa work after a long time?
Sato:I was involved over 20 years ago. It started with the work of searching for the preferences of the girls of the recent 3 to 6 years old. What kind of things are enjoyed by today's children? Is it as it is at that time? What changed? I finally found out that things like girls do not change so much in the end.
- How was the element "future" and "childcare" derived in the background?
Naito:"Future" is the theme that I saw while talking with Mr. Tsubota with directors. It was said that the message "Infinite Future" is suitable for children. Meanwhile, the toy company proposed a concept of a toy called "care of a baby", and as a result of having an image of "Pretty Cure, child-rearing and working well," this time, it got well.
- Both the enemy and the ally "job" is the key, but where is it from?
Naito:In recent years, there was a feeling that Princess, magical, pastry and popular motifs have gone out. So I thought that I would like to do various work that I can not get captured in this time. As a result, I became familiar with the concept "childbirth and work hard". And because PreCure Side is your job, enemies also became worked in that trend. The discussion of what kind of black company the enemy would be made excited. It was a pretty nice talk (laugh).
Zakko:Everyone has various Lesantimans, so imagining bosses that each seems to be ... (laugh).

Sato:That is the most painful place. The name of the baby of "#" was also Hana, so the setting was pretty much covered (laugh). There was also occupation called pastry, but I tried not to say so much.

Sato:We will start planning after investigating the occupation that the current girl wants to become. The cake shop and the flower shop were classic and were always in the ranking, but it will change with the times.
- Is there any other idea from the series director?
Sato:Since it is a work aiming at various directions, the theme may be scattered. I was conscious of focusing on the "future" not to be so. And although this is the part that I was impressed by seeing the previous album "aramode", the area which 3 to 6 year old girls can understand is at most the town level. But "Ala Mordo" was a setting in which the hero's mother works overseas, I thought that it was great to show that the children watching TV have an outside world. Regarding the future which is the theme of this theme, I think that children can imagine the next birthday or Christmas, so I wanted to show that the way is going ahead. So I thought of "Aspawawa" meaning the power to make tomorrow.
Zakko:I felt that Mr. Mr. Sato often said that the words "good and positive girls are good" are impressive and that Mr. Sato himself is constantly looking at that as well. It tends to get dark trying to make the story a serious direction. But Mr. Sato always guided "I'm going to go brighter and better".
Sato:I am responsible for laughter, so I laughed a lot of laughter (laugh).
Zakko:It made me really careful as children would not see it if I made it too dark.
■【Attractive Characters】
- I will talk about the main character. Whose idea is the name of the hero "Noino Hana" or the setting that the bangs were missed?
Naito:Mr. Tsubota had a clear image of her name and bangs, and it was originally written as a character plan from the beginning.
Zakko:At first I was worried that "You can show a cute bun with a bangs bangs, are you pretty?", But I was relieved because I was cute if I saw Kawamura Toshie's rough. It was a cheerful image.
Naito:Also I also wrote that the height was lower.
Sato:I think Tsubota is rooted in the motivation for doing "Precure" that made clearly the setting up so far. For example, it is a failure to cut bangs too much, but if you think it is a failure it is not so, sometimes it leads to charm. To such a clear vision, images of cheerle wanting to cheer someone overlapped, there was a solid character that was standing from the beginning.
- The image of Cheer Girl was also from the beginning.
Sato:There were various images such as cabin attendant in other characters, but Hana was a cheerlear without blurring from the beginning.
- It is a rare case that the main character plays a passive role of "cheering", which I think is also a feature of this work, how about the impression that made such a character an active character as a hero was?
Zakko:I think that a weak person has steadily succeeded in one royal road pattern that it will grow to a solid human being through various training. I was able to deepen humans with various dramas on the back. There are complicated past as if they were made friends at the former school ... ... This setting was heard from Tsubota in the beginning.
Sato:However, we did not have a vision of incorporating that past.
Zakko:You have a life-sized human affinity. There are a lot of talented people around, but the person himself is a mediocre human with nothing. But I think I am comfortable watching the way such a child works hard with my colleagues. I think that viewers are easy to project their own characters.
Naito:Actually it looks spicy if it's only talented people (laugh).
Zakko:Although I draw such a part, I think that it was good to be able to feel like "I am with this person because I like this person."
- Unlike other members, the part that Hana 's future image is not solid has also received a contemporary childhood impression.
Zakko:I do not have any specific occupation, but I'm holding my statue properly.
Sato:"I want to be" is the goal. Although it is a vague image.
- Hana 's mother is a classic setting in anime called a media - related person, but why was it made the father the manager of the home center?
Sato:The home center was set as a place where occupation can be experienced.
Naito:I wanted to express such a recent family image that parents are working together and have no clear role sharing.
Zakko:It is convenient for how to clear the setting that the child works. Because it seemed that it could be cleared if my father was supervising nearby.
- Please tell me about the design concept of each Precure.
Zakko:The pretty cure costume was designed by combining the professional motif and the characteristics of the principal. Ale is a cheerleader and a flower because it is supposed to support precure. Ange was a sister and a nurse, Etoile was a cabin attendant and a figure skater.
Sato:The design was almost as planned as Mr. Kawamura's plan.
Zakko:I changed Etoile's hairstyle for a while. At first I had my twin tail hair collected.
Sato:I also went to color designation, but Precure has a lot of primary colors overall. Children of 3 and 4 years old are more catchy than those with a clear color, but when they are 5 or 6 years old they are seen as children. Therefore, I made the color light so that I do not lower my age too much this time.
- It was an interesting trick to make Android an additional member. I was also surprised by the naming that cited Karel Capek's novel "RUR".
Zakko:Android is Tsubota's idea. Tsubota first decided the name, and the model number of "RUR - 9500" is a plan by Hitoshi Tanaka of the script. I have not heard that the novel is the original story, so there is a possibility of coincidence. I am leaving the mystery without extra prying.

――Please tell us your impressions after seeing the "S.H.Figuarts CURE YELL" that was announced this time.
Zakko:A moving figure is coming out!
Sato:saw it for the first time!
Zakko:Since the hero is a symbol of the program, I wanted all these items to come out. I am glad that my wish has come true. When I first saw it in the picture, I thought that it was bigger, so I was surprised at the size that fits in my palm surprisingly when I actually saw it. I can finely make figures like this for recent figures. It is really amazing.
Sato:You seem to see the skill of the artisan. It is so fine that "I will do so!" In various ways it is worried "Are you OK?" (Laugh).
Zakko:It's true. Because the prototype teacher digs by hand? It is a mad level (lol). Perhaps, it made me feel like I felt my hair fresher so that I could decide beautifully no matter what kind of pose I would take. I felt the prototype teacher Aspawawa. Thank you so much for making such a wonderful experience.
Naito:It is also the point where the skirt is transparent.
Zakko:I use clear parts as well. But you do your high? (Lol)

- Because "Cure" is expressing CG in endings and movies "All Stars", I think that it is a very stereoscopic design, how do you feel?
Zakko:Since Precure will change its head as you transform, I think that it is easy to take consistency in three-dimensional form. I think that it is the neck that is difficult when three-dimensional animation characters are made. My neck is inevitably thin, but I have taken care of the balance of that part.
Sato:The current 3D skill is very high. The pretty cure people have various hair designs, I thought that it was fluffy that the part that I thought was difficult in 3D was properly built. It is good to have goods and shades as well.
Zakko:It is elegant.
Sato:You can reproduce the transformation bank if it moves so far.
Zakko:Can you go with filming? Shooting seems to be hard, but (laugh).

- By the way Who was the transformation bank of this work drawn a story?
Zakko:This is Mr. Sato.
Sato:I refused it at first. It was already out of stock and the withdrawal was empty (laugh).
Zakko:If you are a fan watching Satjune, you absolutely want to see a transformation bank that Mr. Sato draws for a long time. If you asked to do so, the coat was done. But directing eventually ... ....
Sato:It is impossible to do so (haha)
Zakko:I thought that "This is the only one I can do!" And I did the directing. While trembling with pressure pressure (laugh).
- Mr. Sato has been in charge of transformation banks with numerous works so far, but what kind of idea did you draw in this time?
Sato:It was truly a piece of material, so I thought about going back to basics once. While paying attention to "cool" and "cute", I am aware of the pose "I am likely to cope with children". It's also cool to move quickly, but I stop also where I stop and do things that I want to show. I made two additional people in the same flow as the three people I made with it. The basic flow is the same, but we try to make a difference with details etc.
- Makeover bank is also a highlight of animation and it is an important scene in the sense that it will be used throughout the year.
Zakko:It is also conscious of the making side. Children are seriously looking at the bank scene. My child was also 1 year old at the beginning of the show, but I was crazy about becoming a bank scene. I thought, "What the other seniors were saying is true!"
Zakko:Children's face got flickering when you scrape due to the scales, it makes me feel sorry somehow. But this time it was planned to shorten the bank at first.
Sato:Max 15 I said that for a while, I got around 40 seconds in the story (laugh).
Zakko:In addition, it took about 70 seconds to make a picture (laugh). I thought it was useless at that time because it was for children, but after a while I was suffering with adjustment with the scale (laugh).
- It is OK if only the transformation scenes are seen from the children. Even so, we (laugh).
Zakko:Even though we are turning on air only on transformation scenes ... No, it is nothing (laugh).
Naito:I have 55 people at this point so I have one hour (laugh).
- And I also thought that the characters are transforming happily as a feature of the transcending bank of "Precure". Not only children who are the target, but also exhausted adults think that you will be healed when you see that.
Zakko:It is gorgeous and beautiful.
Sato:Compared to the finished bank, my container is rather simple and simple.
Zakko:We tried desperately trying to find images that Mr. Satjun had imagined in his head and bring it closer to it. While frightened not to say "This is not this!" (Laugh).
Sato:Rather, it was like "Do you do it !?" (laugh). Because the drawing seems to be very difficult, the cut which was x in the contest stage was drawn. I was surprised that "I will resurrect!" (Laugh).

- Please tell us about the episodes of each story. Male pretty cure of episode 42 became quite talkative.
Zakko:I was surprised that the reaction was also big. There was a story in which men became something pretty cure even in the past series, and this time I wanted to express that I would like to become "rather than say" a man becomes ". So the reaction to Cure Anfini was unexpected for us.
Naito:It may have spread in a larger context than our intent.
Zakko:I was more concerned about "I do not care who anyone can do", "I'm fighting with everyone trying hard". However it is glad that there was much response.
- In addition, I think that it is also the charm of this work that there is not a variety of borders, such as love for Harry of honor.
Zakko:Even in the past work there was a love story with the fairy, so I do not have a consciousness of doing so innovative things.
Naito:Rather, I was conscious of their parents' eyes. Just surrounded father Mom had no disgust with the romantic elements of anime and it is a real event happening even in the children's world.
Sato:Since girls are interested in feelings like "like" since childhood, it is effective to put them in elements of animation.
Zakko:But drawing romance with children's animation is difficult. Favor as a longing, including suffering and joy. But I think that it is well-balanced.
Naito:I was convinced that these two people did not talk about it.
Sato:I will do it if it is told (laugh).

- What is your impressive episode?
Naito:I am still the first episode. Looking at the flower that transforms into PreCure to protect the lump, I was confident of the direction of the coming year. I hugged my baby and took great pleasure that "I want to become Noo," and it was really good with a bold battle action.
Zakko:I also tried to say the first episode, but because I will suffer, I will make a scene of parting with Cry and Yale of the 48th episode (laugh). The hero thing is basically motivated to fight for "someone's sake" or "protect something", but in this work, it is natural that the slut is cute and important, as it is motivated to become yourself to be able to defend it What is it? Naito:As I mentioned earlier, it took about 2 years including the preparation period. The timing when we started up was just when Kaede's child was born.
Zakko:Oh yeah, just before I was born I got a phone call.
Naito:I felt such a fateful thing and promoted the project. As a producer, I still have a lot of fun, but it was a really fun two years that I was able to join talented people, mainly in Mr. Zakko, Mr. Sato, and Mr. Tsubota. If possible we would like to bring you next. How is that?
Sato:Next is also "HUG"?
Zakko:Nobita's sequel (laugh).
Sato:Certainly it is inconvenient to finish in a year. I think that it is a work that can be built a little more.
Naito:I think that it is blessed to be able to do even one year recently with many cool works. That's why I feel loneliness that it ends as long as it is together.
Zakko:Indeed there is a feeling of loss.
Naito:The staff at the site will gradually escape.
Zakko:Everybody has moved to the next staff room and it will not go out. What do you feel like doing at this timing?
Naito:This scene was never good at Kakuha Uhufu, there were times when I was talking badly saying something unspeakable, I think that such kind of relationship was good. I told you two years but the sensory time was in a flash. During that time, I went to a toy shop and event venue and watching the children who are obsessed with the work, I felt it was repeated days. No matter how painful it was, it was my heart support to think that "I am doing for this smile."
Zakko:It was really hard but it was a worthwhile two years. No, I was busy enough to think that I would really die. I experienced "Dragon Ball Theory" which will become stronger when dying on the borderline (laugh). But I have a feeling that "I will never pull!" To all the staff, I felt like running around with everyone to realize that. And while you were with Mr. Sato, Naito san, Tsubota, I realized again that there are many things I can not do and I was made to think about how I can make it possible. I feel I got a positive attitude of "I have to work harder than myself" in exchange for life (laugh). Ultimately, I think that "HUG" became a wonderful work thanks to everyone on the site.
Sato:It's been a long time since I was involved in a work for children, which made me study and stimulated me, and I had a really good experience. A long time ago, I was involved in children's animation such as "SAILOR MOON" and "Doremi", but I couldn't answer how it reached the children. Recently, I finally heard the voice "I watched it when I was a kid", and I put what I got from the answers into "HUG". That's something I can do now, so in that sense, I think it's a work that makes the most of my experience.
