Sakamoto:That's right. A work of about 5 minutes is easy to see. Making one highlight in one episode is a lot from the creator's point of view, but I thought that it was a challenging project.

● Did the composition or the story be decided at the time of the offer?
Sakamoto:Unlike the TV series, the feature of the "Fight Series" is that it has a high degree of freedom. There is "Ultra Fight Victory" that I did, but at that time it was only decided to put out "Ultraman Victory Night", and after that I said "I want to put out that, I want to do this". I was able to come up with such an idea and make it. It feels like deciding what kind of enemies and monsters to make it interesting, and what kind of highlights to create. ●How did you proceed with "ULTRA GALAXY FIGHT NEW GENERATION HEROES"?
Sakamoto:What was decided this time was that NEW GENERATION HEROES would be featured, and that new enemy characters, "Ultraman X-Darkness" and "ULTRAMAN GEED DRAKNESS", would appear. So we mainly came up with ideas for what other enemies we should include and how they should be structured. This time, "Ultraman Taro" is set as the father of "ULTRAMAN TAIGA" (the protagonist of the new TV show "ULTRAMAN TAIGA" currently airing), so we used these elements as pieces and proceeded with the work as if putting together a puzzle.

What about the selection of enemy characters?
Sakamoto:The three heroes, "Ultra Dark Killer", "Ultraman X Darkness" and "ULTRAMAN GEED DRAKNESS", were decided from the beginning as the main attractions of this event. There were seven New Generation Heroes to face. So, we decided to add more enemy characters. The characters chosen were "Dark Lugiel" and "Etalgar", who are connected to Ginga. When NEW GENERATION HEROES gathered, who would be the leader? Some people said that Kurenai Gai (Ultraman Orb) would be the best choice, considering his age, but Gai is a wanderer and not the type to take on leadership roles, so we decided that Reido Hikaru (Ultraman Ginga) would be the best choice. Hikaru is a character set similar to the protagonist of a shonen manga, and he is the protagonist of the first work in the New Generation series.

● Do you feel like No. 1 warrior of new generation?
Sakamoto:that's right. So, I thought it would be easier to put together a story that there is a team of heroes led by Ultraman Ginga, and that "Dark Lugiel" and "Etargar" appear as enemies related to Ginga.
